Sai informs Sadashiv that his bitter words is making Sunanda ill and he is doing same mistake which his father did with his mother, his father always blamed his mother for not doing her work properly. Sadashiv says Sai does not have rights to talk about his parents and says his father was right. He insists Sai to return his toy and holds it.. Sai shows him his childhood incident where his mother gifts him toy he wanted and he going out to show his toy to his friend. His father enters and scolds mother for wasting money on toy as he is saving money for Kashi pilgrimage. Mother says Sadashiv never asks anything and he wanted a toy. Father yells he will get moksha if he takes bathe in kashi and he will not let anyone ruin is dream. Mother’s condition deteriorates helping father in his pooja and she falls severely ill. Vaidya checks her and informs father that she needs to be treated in a hospital and will need a lot of money. Father thinks his wife will heal on her own and he will not spend his Kashi pilgrimage savings. Mother passes away. Kid Sadashiv cries losing his mother. His father consoles him and before doing in his childhood his father asks Sadashiv to immerse his ashes in Kashi for his and Sadashiv’s moksha.
Sadashiv cries that his mother had to suffer so much because of his father’s adamancy and his father never told him truth. Sai says it was not his mistake, but he is repeating the same mistake his father did and his wife’s condition is deteriorating each day because of his taunts, he brought her to Shirdi to change climate and gather some money for Kashi pilgrimage, buth er condition deteriorated more; what is the use of moksha if it takes dear ones away from him. He describes how he blamed Sunanda for his mistakes and even Yamuna felt bad seeing his rude behavior towards Sunanda. He then describes shlokas and Sadashiv describes its meaning that a fruitful tree and scholar always are humble and dry tree and fools always don’t bend. He continues his moral gyaan..
