Srikanth’s students draw Holika’s painting according to their imagination. He checks Pari’s painting and praises that she is good painter. He asks Govinda what has he painted and is amused to see bald lady/Chihu’s painting. Students laughs this looks like rakshasi/monster. Govinda warns to shut up. Srikanth says Govinda’s painting is unique and all students’ paintings are good, so he will keep them at his house. Once children leave, Srikanth looks at Govinda’s painting again and thinks what did he paint.
Sai takes Vaibhav to dwarkamayi and preparing bow and arrow asks him to show how far he can shoot this arrow. Vaibhav shoots arrow and it falls just in front of them. Sai asks if this arrow can be shot so near. Vaibhav says it can go far away by experienced hands. Sai shoots arrow in air and it flies far in sky and falls back. Sai gives moral gyaan that no job is small and one has to climb ladder slowly to reach destiny, he should start a job first to reach his desired designation, it is better than staying idle at home. Vaibhav says he understand his words.
Villagers collect wood and dry grass for holika dahan celebrations. On the other side, Chihu hears ladies discussing about festival preparations at their house and gets sad going into flashback when she was not a widow and played holi with Kulkarni and his love for her sister. Out of flashback, she cries. Barber comes to tonsure Chihu’s head. Govinda walks to Sai who is cutting wood and tries to speak to him. Sai continues cutting wood. Jhipri brings food for all. Govinda takes one for even Sai and serves him. Wood sliver falls into food. Sai sits to have food. Govinda stops him and shows wood sliver. Sai says he knows Govinda will not give him anything unwanted, be it wood sliver or stale jalebi. Govinda gets tensed thinking Sai knows about his mischief and will not talk to him again. Sai says he will not breaking their friendship at any cost and says he and his mother have a big misunderstanding which they have to clear soon, his mother loves him a lot. Govinda returns home and opposes Chihu’s head tonsuring. Chihu runs behind him saying she will tonsure his head and runs away.
Holi celebrations start. Children discuss, they will watch gali galoch holi for sure today and asks Sai why it is celebrated. Sai says elders vent out their anger on each other via jokes and clear their mind. It is a good ritual then. At night, all villagers gather outside Kulkarni’s house. Kulkarni performs holika dahan ritual. Govinda determines to punish barber who tonsures his mother’s head. Rukmini pray god to keep away problems from her house and protect her both sons Keshav and Govinda. On the other side, Srikanth sitting at his home looks at Govinda’s painting carefully. Sai reaches there and says he should celebrate holi with everyone instead of sitting here alone. Srikanth shows Govinda’s made painting to him and says this looks like bald lady with burning eyes and sharp long teeth, Govinda is going through some mental turmoil and he wants to know everything about Govinda. Sai says he has to reach Kulkarni’s house for that. Srikanth says he does not know anyone much there. Sai says he will find out people he should know and takes him to Kulkarni wada.
After holika dahan pooja, elders ask youngster to go from as they are starting gali galoch holi. All children walk away except Govinda. Rukmini asks him to go. Kulkkarni says Govinda is his nephew, so let him stay here. Abdul and Ranoji start playing gali galoch holi. Ranoji alleges Abdul that he gave only 1 bowl sewayan/sweet during festival while he eats whole lot of puran poli which his wife makes and curses that he should not even get banana to eat. Abdul promises to give 10 bowl of sewayan and requests not to curse him. They all laugh. Barber starts his yelling next and says he wants to tonsure whole village’s head. Govinda warns him to dare tonsure his mother’s head again, he will cut his hands. Everyone are amused to hear that. People discuss Chihu is widow, so she has to follow ritual. Govinda asks barber to tonsure his wife’s head and confronts Rukmini that she never opposes injustice and her maama failed to protect his sister. Srikanth reaches with Sai and noticing Govinda’s confrontation realizes Govinda is an orphan. Govinda asks Sai why his mother cannot enjoy holi like others and if evil ends with holika dahan, is his mother a bigger evil whose evilness will not end even with that.
Precap: Kulkarni tries to hit Govinda. Govinda pushes him and tries to escape and falls towards fire. Srikanth rushes to hold him.
