Sai says Suraj’s intentions will change, and today’s things wouldn’t have happened if Suraj hadn’t run away. Tatya says you told him Sai but he didn’t listen, if he would have lawyers like Kaka Saheb would save him. Sai says he doesn’t want to trust anyone, he has believed that for justice you jeed violence. Shama says but you tried explaining consequences but he didn’t understand.
Sai says Shama remember when you were teacher and Tatya was your student, he found maths tough and stopped studying for it. Shama says yes I remember and he always ran away with Keshav from math class. Sai says and then what happened. Shama says one day Tatya saw Keshav working out math problems and so Tatya started paying attention too. Sai says Suraj also needs to see an example. Malchapati asks who can be that person. Sai says someone who can influence Suraj.

Suraj’s men distract police keeping an eye on Suraj, Suraj enters. Vishal says why did you come, there is police outside. Suraj says I am not scared. Suraj working out thinking about how his mother slapped him. .Suraj remembers how he was a runner and wasn’t announced winner and eliminated by false accusations because he didn’t let britishers win and if he tries again to compete with britishers he will be put behind bars. Suraj says how long will we have to bare this injustice, I was helping others in my own country we are like slaves, workers say but look mill is still running and Balvant and Kulkarni are still in profit. Suraj says you are right, we can’t let mill be operational.
Vishal catches the thief and takes back necklace, other villagers gather, and they say he isn’t from our village and makes him take back to his village and infrom the head. Sai walks there, everyone praises Vishal, Vishak hands necklace to the lady. Sai says Vishal you can be a very good runner and can make our country proud. Vishal says not after what happened to Dada. Sai says then why do you still practice and hide it from everyone and Suraj thinks like he had to face injustice you will also face same, and only you can prove Suraj that he is not right, and by winning race you will prove that, you have a broucher hidden in cupboard, participate and win and win back your brother too.
Suraj and his men stop Supervisor and other workers from going to mill. Supervisor asks how are you Suraj, I left food in your tension. Suraj removes tiffin from his bag and says we are all here fighting and you just keep jumping, other workers say like him even we are working out of helplessness, we have family and children to look after. Suraj says and don’t we have family, but we are fighting for better future and because of you cowards, and so mill won’t be operational anymore or else our efforts will go waste, so join us happily or we will force to and does anyone want enemity with me.
Sai walks to them quoting importance of violence. Suraj remembers a written format of the quote.
