Rukmini asks Serrvant about Sai. Servant tells her about Sai and says he calls Bayaza as Maa. Chivu comes there and scolds her. Bayaza comes there and asks if she can do the path. Rukmini gets happy and says she used to do paath before marriage. She says she will confirm after seeking Kulkarni’s permission. Mhalsapati comes to Appa and says my Jamai Vishnu got increment in his job and his father is praising Yamuna. Appa and Bayaza get happy. Aayi comes there. Bayaza helps her come inside. Mhalsapati tells Aayi that Vishnu got increment and asks her to bless him. Aayi blesses him. She falls down. Aayi checks her vision and says she couldn’t see even blurred. Bayaza asks her to wash her eyes. Appa asks her to bring ointment. Aayi tells her that she wants to die rather than this living.

Rukmini

comes to Kulkarni and massages his feet. Chivu comes there and says Bayaza akka called her to do paath and says Vahini is going. Kulkarni gets angry. Rukmini says it is not like that and says some women want her to do paath at Bayaza akka’s house, and says she told her that she will do only if her husband permits. Kulkarni asks who told Bayaza that you know sanskit. Rukmini says they might have thought you being a scholar will not marry illiterate. Kulkarni asks who will do work. Rukmini says she will do all the work. Chivu says all caste people comes there and asks what people will say if she goes there. Kulkarni says Chivu is right and asks her to take Chivu with her. Chivu gets irked.

Mhalsapati asks Appa to show her to Sai. Aayi says she is happy not to see Sai with this blindness. Mhalsapati asks her to see Sai once. Bayaza and Appa praises Sai. Aayi asks them to take her to Sai and says see how my closed eyes will open your eyes, he will not treat me and hates me. They take her to Sai’s place.

Appa tells Sai that Aayi lost her vision fully. Sai asks them to make her sit there. He grinds some roots. A man tells that the roots are poisonous. Aayi says he is trying to take revenge. Sai smiles. She says she don’t want to see him at her house, and is now brought to his house. She asks Appa why he is taking time. Sai grinds the paste and applies under her eyes. She writhes in pain and says he has broken my eyes. Appa and Bayaza ask her to sit. Aayi says truth will be infront of everyone and says he has damaged my eyes. She says if Bayaza made you have food for this day. Aayi says nothing will happen to you. Sai nods looking at Bayaza.
