Susheela pleads Kanoji and his mother that they may not send her out again, but should call Tatya and give him curd for Sai. MIL yells why did she prepare curd and asks Kanoji to throw it away. Susheela reminisces Sai’s words that bearing injustice is equal to doing injustice, says they cannot throw curd away. Kanoji yells he will first throw curd away and then punish her. He with his mother searches curd all around the kitchen, but finds Krishna’s idol and yells how did idol come here when she knows he doesn’t like it, he will go and throw idol into water well. MIL also yells at Susheela. Susheela pleads not throw her god away. Sai notices it sitting in Dwarkamayi. Susheela seeks Sai’s help. On the other side, Mahadev also seeks Sai’s help when Giridhar resists to take medicine.
In Dwarkamayi, Baizamaa serves food to Sai. Sai denies to have food and asks her to sing lullaby like she used to when Tatya was young. She signs lullaby. Kanoji raises hand to punish Susheela when he hears lullaby and falls asleep, leaving his mother in shock. Mahadev cries loudly hearing lullaby. Giridhar wakes up and hearing Mahadev telling that he should have behaved well with Giridhar so that he could have medicine at least. Giridhar laughs. Mahadev confronts why was he acting. Giridhar says when he is such a big scholar, why can’t he understand simple fact that humbleness is the core of life. Mahadev agrees that he will do whatever Giridhar says if he consumes his medicines. Giridhar asks him to do all household chores. Mahadev reminisces Sai’s advice and agrees.
After Baizamaa finishes singing lullaby, Sai tells Baizmaa that her lullaby helped a few people today. Susheela thinks today she escaped her husband’s torture somehow, but she has to to end her ordeal somehow. She walks out of house reminiscing all the torture and humility her husband and MIL made on her. She thinks Sai noticing it asks Baizamaa to serve him food now and taking all the food walks to cow Kapila and says she did what she could. Susheela picks rope to suicide thinking this is the only way out.
