Senior officer (Vidyanand says we have designated her to be here. We have a right to discuss the matter and come to a decision. How could you take a decision on the spot then? Junior officer apologizes. I was told that Dr. Savitri was refusing to treat patients. Savitri calls it a lie. Vidyanand tells his junior officer that this matter will be investigated. Anyone who is found responsible for it will be investigated as well. Sarkar says I don’t know what Nanasaheb has told you. He doesn’t even stay here but we do. Vidyanand cuts him off. This girl is our best doctor. She will stay here and treat the patients, especially till the epidemic subsides. Savitri nods. Nanasaheb introduces Vidyanand to Sai. Sai asks him to come inside. You can see how nicely Dr. Savitri is handling her patients. Sarkar
Janardan meets Sarkar on his way and mocks him. You may or may not agree but people like you are left with no words in the end. You only say big things but aren’t capable of anything! Sarkar tells him that he is making a mistake. I haven’t accepted defeat yet. I agree that I had to take a step back but I wont let that girl stay here. Janardan refuses to trust him. I am ending our partnership. It is fine if Savitri is gone by tomorrow night or I will take all my investment back. He goes. Banta asks Sarkar what they will do now. Sarkar is upset that fate works against him every time. I don’t understand one thing though. I paid bribe to the junior officer in the morinng itself. No one had any clue about it. How did Vidyanand come to Shirdi so quickly then?
Savitri treats all her patients with love. Vidyanand, Nanasaheb and Sai watch her from outside. Nanasaheb tells Vidyanand that it is good that he came here or we would have lost a great doctor. How did it happen though? Vidyanand shares that he goes to temple every evening. I went there yesterday as well.
Flashback shows Vidyanand meeting pundit ji in the temple. Pundit ji asks Vidyanand how he is so spiritual and scientific at the same time. Vidyanand says as much as I have studied science, I have come to understand that our body has been made by a great power. There is a reason behind every creation. Why not give that power God if I have to name it? Faith in God helps us overcome all the problems. I am praying here that we are able to win over this epidemic. Pundit ji is sure God will help him with that. Vidyanand takes his leave. A man is sitting outside on the stairs. He asks Vidyanand if he has seen a piece of sunshine. Vidyanand asks Him if He said anything to Him. The man narrates a poem about how sunshine cannot be stopped by anything that tries to block it. He stands up. You must become the piece of sunshine to make this Abhishek fruitful. He is holding a piece of wood while saying all this and tells Vidyanand that it is his test. He leaves. Pundit ji says don’t know who He was and what riddle was He saying. Vidyanand says that riddle had a deep meaning. He said those things and left suddenly. It feels as if He wanted to say something to me. Flashback ends.
Vidyanand says that man made me think. I was trying to understand what He implied by all of that. I realized that it must be towards my work as my Abhishek is always directed at the well-being of people. I immediately went to office and asked my assistant to bring info on every doctor. I found out that there is some problem in Shirdi. I decided to dig deep. I came to your (Nanasaheb’s) place last night as I know that you know a lot about Shirdi.
Flashback is shown again. Nanasaheb is shocked to see Vidyanand at his door in the middle of the night.
Vidyanand says Nanasaheb agreed to bring me to Shirdi as soon as I shared my doubts with him. I am very grateful to the man I met outside the temple. He sent me here and made me do this. He has saved many lives and helped me do my duty. I pray to meet Him once so I can thank Him with folded hands. Sai smiles. He gives something to Vidyanand. Open it once you are home. You will find your answers.
Savitri comes out excitedly. Is there anyone else? There is no villager outside except Sai, Nanasaheb and her mother. Savitri smiles. I attended to every patient today.
Ramabai ji collides with Sarkar. He asks her if she is blind. She tells him that she must meet Sai. He asks her why she wants to see Him. Ramabai ji shares that her son’s condition has worsened. He tells her that Sai was ill 2 days ago. He went to a lady doctor to get Himself treated. How will He treat your son? She speaks of her faith in Sai. Sarkar offers to save her son instead. She agrees and asks him to come with her. Sarkar thinks that he will save this woman’s son and then villagers will believe in me again. I will see who will go to that Fakir then. He can try to save Vidyanand as much as He wants but I will win accolades in the end. He sends Banta to his home to bring his bag to Mhalsapati ji’s house.
Sai tells Savitri that her work isn’t over yet. Take your medicine box and come with me. She nods. Vidyanand asks Nanasaheb where Sai is going. Nanasaheb says Sai would know. Let’s go as well. Vidyanand is curious to open the thing Sai has given to him. Nanasaheb repeats Sai’s words but Vidyanand opens it. He looks at the piece of wood and then remembers seeing it in the hands of the man who he had met outside temple. Was that Sai who had come to meet me? His eyes well up. E touches the wood to his head gratefully. I have finally come to understand why you believe in Sai so much. He not just made me realize my responsibilities but He also knew that I will keep thinking about that man forever. He has answered that question as well. Nanasaheb says that’s how my Sai is. He answered your question and dint stay back to hear His praise. They say Om Sai Ram
Savitri asks Sai where they are going. Sai says it is where you are needed the most.
Sarkar is making medicine for Ramabai ji’s son. Villagers look on. Banta thinks that Sarkar is using expensive medicine but it does not feel that this woman will be able to pay for it. Sarkar is doing his best to save this boy. What has happened to him? Sarkar feeds medicine to the boy and rubs his chest. The boy passes out. Ramabai ji asks Sarkar what has happened to her son. Sarkar checks his pulse and drops his hand in shock. His heartbeat has stopped! I did my best but maybe God had some other plan. Ramabai ji breaks down. She cries holding her son. Sarkar feels bad for losing the boy. I got a chance where it was too late already. A villager remarks that Sai is here. Ramabai ji runs to Sai. Where were you? Please look at my son. You said that he will be fine but what is Sarkar saying. Sarkar says He says big things but He disappears at the time when He is needed the most. Sai looks at the boy.
Precap: Sai asks Savitri to check the boy. Sarkar asks Him if He has lost His mind. Savitri tells him to let her try as well. Sarkar tells them to go ahead. Don’t fool a mother by giving her a false hope though. Savitri checks the boy.
