Sai takes severely ill Govinda to Dwarkamyi. Chihu cries seeing Govinda writhing in pain. Baiza maa asks her not to worry as Govinda is he is under Sai’s guidance. Sai asks Chihu not to worry as Govinda is under the loving care of her mother and other loving people, even his baba/father is coming soon. Srikanth enters and gets concerned seeing Govinda’s condition. He Sai aside and asks if his son will be alright as he already lost one child and doesn’t want to lose another child. Sai suggests him nothing will happen to Govinda as his dear ones are around him. Srikanth assures Chihu that nothing will happen to Govinda until is Sai is with them.
Mhalsapati calls Patil, Ranoji, and other villagers that he got a letter from Vishnu who informed that dangerous epidemic is spreading all around, it has reached from Bambai till Pune within a week and may spread to Shirdi soon. Tatya says even he heard about this epidemic via his assistant and it is very dangerous. Bhima says already Govinda is suffering from epidemic. Someone says let us leave Shirdi. Mhalsapati says when it has already spread here, there is no use of running away. Patil says Mhalsapati is right, they cannot escape and only Sai can help them. Rano says let us all go to Sai. They all head towards Dwarkamayi.
Sai performs Tulsi and sees Chihu and Srikanth taking care of Govinda. He asks Chihu to go and rest for sometime as she has not slept whole night and asks Srikanth to go to school and teach students. Srikanth asks how can he go leaving Govinda in this condition. Chihu backs Srikanth. Sai says if she falls ill, how will she take care of Govinda and suggestgs Srikanth that one cannot ignore work at any cost. Srikanth agrees and leaves. Sai asks Chihu again to go and rest. Chihu says Rukmini bought up Govinda and used to take her to her parent’s house for months and she never used to worry about Govinda, but now she is so much worried for Govinda.
Mhalsapati with other villagers enters and informs Sai about Vishnu’s letter regarding epidemic. Sai greets them all in and when Baizaa maa brings water asks her to boil water as everyone will drink boiled water from today. He suggests that all living beings try to keep themselves hygienic except human who thinks only his house needs to be cleaned and outside left dirty, one should realize their responsibility of keeping body, mind and soul clean. Tatya asks what is the relationship between health and keeping mind and soul clean. Sai explains if mind and soul are clean, one will thinking of keeping surroundings clean and think of other people’s well being.
Kulkarni gets British government’s letter that they are happy with the way he is serving 2 villages, but would think of giving him monetary assistance depending on the number of people in his epidemic rehabilitation camp. Kulkarni orders to frighten people to send epidemic-hit patients to epidemic rehabilitation camp, else it is considered as disobeying British government. Panta gathers villagers and makes announcements, but nobody pays attention to him.
Sai’s muslim lady disciple feels headache, nausea, thirst, etc. and thinks why she is feeling so weak. Her relative enters crying and shows her forehead injury inflicted by her husband. Lady says Sai will solve her problem and takes her towards Dwarkamayi when she feels nauseous and vomits. Her relative says let us go to vaidya. Lady says when Sai is there, they need not worry. Panta hears that and runs to inform Kulkarni.
Precap: Kulkarni asks muslim lady if she is having headache, nausea, thirst, etc. Lady asks how does he know. Kulkarni shouts she is suffering form epidemic.
