Cunning man pleads Sai to help him. Sai says its his bad deed that he lost his money; he should have fed his daughter properly, instead he tried to save money for future and spoilt even presence. Man apologizes his daughter and wife for his bad deed and says he couldn’t be either a good father or husband and spoilt everything. Sai picks money box and closing it says repentence is good and now that he realized his mistake, he should use his money wisely. Man cries that money is spoilt by termites. Sai says they get according to their thinking and gives him box. Man opens box and sees money intact. Sai says a saint who loves family and a family which is not leniant will meet the end soon. Man promise Sai that he will follow his advice. Sai gives banana to man’s daughter. Man says
Panta with goons checks each house and ordes to drag ill people to Kulkarni’s house. He then walks into Chihu tai’s house and seeing Govinda severley ill writhing with stomachache orders goons to take him to sarkar/Kulkarni. Chihu pleads not to do that as Govinda grew up even in his lap. Panta says if he doesn’t follow sarkar’s order, sarkar will kill him. Goons lift Govinda and forcefully take him towards Kulkarni’s house. Kulkarni checks many poor people and ordering to stand outside in lawn thinks they are all healthy and he cannot send them to epidemic rehabilitation center. Anta brings Govinda there and says Govinda is severely ill. Kulkarni thinks Govinda is suffering from epidemic and this is the best chance to take revenge from Chihu. He says Govinda is suffering from epidemic and will be shifted to epidemic rehabilitation camp on the outskirts of village. Chihu pleads him not to be so rude on his nephew. Kulkarni says Govinda’s condition is because of his mother’s sins and Chihu supported wanderer Sai instead of her own brother, she will have to pay for her sins now. Rukmini walks out and pleads not be so tough on her only nephew. Kulkarni shouts at her to get inside house.
Chihu warns Kulkarni that she will see who will stop her from taking her son with her. Kulkarni asks if she will go against British government, she was so confident about Sai, now he realized even he will get this epidemic and didn’t come for her help. Govinda calls Sai. Kulkarni orders his goons to lift Govinda via cloth. They lift him and cloth burns. Everyone are amazed to see that. Sai emerges and warns Kulkarni’s goons to leave Govinda, else he will also burn. Kulkarni asks if he will treat Govinda. Sai says Govinda needs his uncle Kulkarni’s support. Kulkarni shouts he would rather let Govinda die. Sai says he will take Govinda with him and together with Chihu will treat Govinda with love and care. Kulkarni warns villagers to not let Sai take Govinda, else they all will die with epidemic. Sai lifts Govinda and walks away..
