The Episode starts with Riya trying to cook food. Ashok comes home and asks Pari where was she at night. Pari colors her nails and does not answer. Sarla says Pari was with her friend. Ashok says I have to meet her friend. He asks Pari to take him to her friend’s house. He throws the nail polish. Pari says its costly. He asks how did she get money, if he did not give her. Sarla says I have given her, is there any problem. Ashok says fine, I will show the problem. Sarla opens the paper and asks Rani and Sonal not to see. She sees Pari’s pic outside the hotel. She asks Ashok is he not ashamed to spoil Pari’s name. He gets shocked as Sarla blames him and not Pari.
Riya sleeps in the kitchen. Kaushalya and Preeti go there and see her sleeping. Shanti tells Nimmi that she is very hungry.
Kaushalya asks Riya to be quiet and not shiver. She says you have to serve food. She asks Nimmi not to let Shanti come inside. Nimmi stops Shanti and gives her juice. Pari cries and hits her head to the door. She pushes Sonal. Amit comes home and asks whats this drama now. Ashok scolds Sarla and asks her to see Pari, she has crossed all limits, they are not like Kaushalya’s children’s nails too, your children’s future is dark. He goes. Sarla asks Pari whats this. Pari says its nothing, I m not lying, everyone has problem with me, I don’t want to stay here. Pari hides the newspaper seeing Sonal.
Kaushalya says I know Riya does not have mum, but you could learn anything from Bunty’s mum, Suman and Bua, did they not teach you, did you cook this for your dad all these years, I did not see such roti till now, how can anyone eat this. Riya cries. Kaushalya dumps the dish and guides Riya to cook. Riya gets sad seeing Kaushalya behaving strict.
Nimmi says she will massage Shanti’s head. Shanti says she will check in kitchen. Shanti comes there and Kaushalya makes Riya do all the work. Shanti asks Riya what is she cooking, and asks about the old dish. Riya says yes, but.. Nimmi says come Dadi, we will wait. Shanti asks will Riya cook till dinner. Kaushalya moves Riya and asks did Shivam know you don’t know cooking. Raghav comes and says its fine Riya is taking time, as she is cooking for first time. He reads the paper. Kaushalya asks Riya does she know to put tadka on Daal. She says even I did not know anything when I got married, but I learnt in 4 days, will you also learn? Riya cries.
The family sits to have food. Shanti likes the food and says she will give nek to bahu. She gives nek to Kaushalya saying its for her second first rasoi. Shivam looks at them. Shanti says Kaushalya’s hand taste came in Riya’s handmade food. Raghav says I liked it, and gives 500rs to Riya. He asks Shanti to give two orders for Chandrahaar, one for Riya from his side. Shanti coughs and makes faces. Shanti asks Kaushalya why did she insult her, why did she help Riya. She pinches Kaushalya’s arm in anger.
Shanti says I will have food when Riya cooks by heart. Riya stops Shanti and says I did not cook food today. Shanti says I know, I have been eating Kaushalya’s handmade food since 24 years, its good you said truth, make food alone tomorrow, tell Kaushalya you won’t need her help. She tells them about some yog told by pandit, so Riya will be sleeping in her room till 10 days. Nimmi asks Riya why did she make Kaushalya a liar, why did you say truth to Dadi. She says you spoiled mummy’s image to make your image. Riya says I don’t lie. Nimmi says leave it, you did wrong. Kaushalya asks Nimmi to sotp it, Riya is elder. Nimmi says why don’t Riya understand mummy did this for Riya. Kaushalya sends Nimmi. Preeti says explain this to Riya too and goes.
Kaushalya asks Riya to have food and then sleep in Shanti’s room. Nimmi tells Preeti that she can’t see mummy getting insulted, I wish I could tell Riya the truth of Dadi. Preeti says we will go and tell. Nimmi says its not easy, Shivam stopped me. She says Shivam should understand its necessary to tell Riya about Shanti.
Shivam comes there and hears everything. He says I know what you both are going through. He hugs them and says I know you both are good sisters, but I m trying to explain Riya, I guess time is running bad. Nimmi says no. Riya’s time is running bad, as she will have to sleep with Dadi for 10 days. They laugh. He hugs them and asks them to support him. He promises he will be with them. Nimmi says Riya will know Dadi’s truth by their snoring. They laugh.
Shanti could not sleep by leg pain. Riya says she will massage her legs. Shanti says no, I have habit of Kaushalya, but these days she does not come, you sleep. Riya says I will massage your legs. Shanti fills Riya’s ears against Kaushalya and her daughters. Kaushalya cries as home is becoming a battle ground. Raghav asks her what happened, is she not getting sleep. He says we started from a room and today every member has a room, did you think how did this become possible, its because of Shanti and you. She smiles and cries.
He asks why does she do mistake and cry. She says I try to become like Shanti and some mistake happens. He consoles her and asks her to have patience, Riya will need time to become bahu. He says you also need time to become saas, you have experience, its not so tough. She says I will try well. He asks her to go and sleep and jokes.
Its morning, Nimmi talks on phone. Shanti asks Kaushalya to fill water from the lane tap. Nimmi asks for phone as its imp about studies. Shanti sends her. Nimmi thinks she has to submit assignment. Riya greets Shanti and asks did she call someone. Shanti says they have to fill water. Riya asks shall I go. Shanti says later, sit now. Riya says she will help Kaushalya in filling water. Shanti asks her to show playing music in Nimmi’s phone and insists. Nimmi comes and sees them. Riya says I will go and help them. Shanti asks about calling buttons and asks her to make tea first.
Nimmi asks Kaushalya to see Riya is sitting as Maharani. The ladies tell Kaushalya about modern bahu. Nimmi says Riya has no intentions to fill water. Kaushalya says leave it, I can’t hear a word against my bahu. Riya gives tea to Shanti and asks shall I go. Shanti says you can’t go alone, wait I will drink tea and come with you. Kaushalya and Nimmi bring buckets and Riya tries to take bucket. Nimmi says no need, you rest. Shanti says why, I will come along. The ladies taunt Shanti. Riya lifts water and Shanti asks Nimmi to take it. Nimmi taunts Riya for not working.
Shanti gets call on Nimmi’s phone and says no one does fashion study here. She asks Nimmi. Nimmi says she filled form much time before. Nimmi goes to get water buckets. Nimmi takes her phone. Sahil and Bunty come home and ask Anupam about silence at home. Anupam laughs. Sahil asks where did Bua and Suman go. Anupam says Bua went to village and your parents went out. Bunty says we can call Riya. Anupam says no, let her adjust in her new home. Shanti praises Riya infront of everyone. Nimmi tells Kaushalya that Shanti is giving training to Riya. Shanti scolds Nimmi.
