Next day Shaurya was busy making some calls and finding new investors and business opportunities. He was rushing out for meetings and other arrangements. Mehak handle the house matters and everything at White chilies with Vicky. Sometimes at night Shaurya will be too busy with his work she just manage to give him kisses before she goes to bed.
After few days Shaurya gets a call from an exhibition organizer that they are inviting him to Mumbai for an exhibition which give business opportunities and expansion. Shaurya asked them to email the invitation and the event itinerary. He called Mehak who was in White chilies to inform that he got invitation from an event organizer. So he has to leave to Mumbai in the evening, Mehak said she will come home now and hang up the call. She took an auto and reached Khanna mansion. She greeted the elders and went upstairs. She saw Shaurya busy with the laptop and suitcase was laid open on the bed and all his suits was scattered on the bed. Mehak put her handbag away and started to pack his clothes in the suitcase, she asked him how many days you will be gone Shaurya, he was so engrossed with his work and didn’t see her just replied 1 week. She pack accordingly with the matching ties and all for him. He saved his work and send it to printing. He walks toward the printer to collect the print outs and walk back to his room. Mehak keep observe him under her lashes he was too busy and didn’t look at her past few days. He went to washroom to freshen up and was standing in front of the wash basin taking off his t-shirt. He was checking his face and the beard slowly started to grow back. Mehak came at the back of him and hugged by his waist and rest her cheek on his bare back. Shaurya asked sensuously why madam don’t want me to go to Mumbai is it. He pull her front and push her to the wash basin edge. Looking at her with eyes full of love, Mehak replied I will miss you Shaurya for 1 week, can I come along she asked with her puppy eyes. He cupped her cheeks and take a deep breathe if can I would have taken you with me but this time is exhibition and will have many meetings sometimes late night meetings and all that’s why I am not bringing you . At least you have maa , papa Vicky and maasi and you can go visit home if you come there you will be sitting in the hotel till I comeback and gets bored. Mehak hold his palms and kissed on his right palm she gets up and hugged him. You will call me whenever you are free right? He assured her that he will call her as he said that he planted a kiss on her hair. Mehak looks at him and asked him to get dressed and she will get for him some food before he leave to airport. He nodded and ask her to go get him some food. Mehak went to kitchen to get food in a plate and told Dolly maasi and Karuna maa that Shaurya going to Mumbai so he will have lunch before he leaves, they nodded and she went upstairs he sat on the bed checking his files and he put his laptop into suitcase. He was calling someone in between as well. Mehak stand in front of him waiting for him to hang up the call. As he was saying bye to the caller Mehak grab the mobile and put it away he looked at her in aww. She ask him to sit properly and she will feed him. He listen to her and sit straight, she sat next to him and feed him and slowly wipe his mouth when there is curry near to his lips. He finish his food and drank water. Mehak went to wash her hands off and came out from the room. He asked did you packed this suit and the tie and others , Mehak replied she have packed all but better check before leaving he just had a quick glance over his suitcase and close the zip up. He looked at Mehak mischievously she asked what why are you looking at me like that. He pulled her to his chest and hold her waist tightly her hand was on his chest. You started again aren’t you getting late for your flight she asked? He gazed deep into her eyes and asked you sure you don’t know what I want? Or you want me to take it on my own way? Her eyes wide open and she fluttered her eye lid hearing his demand. He bent slowly to her juicy lips before she could say anything Shaurya press his lips against hers , Mehak melted in his kiss and her fingers went to behind of his nape and she combed his hair with her fingers. After the lingering moment Shaurya break the kiss Mehak look down as she turned crimson. He kissed on her forehead and leans in so her forehead rests against his, they close their eyes both their breathes are shaking. I love you Mehak Shaurya said and Mehak rubbed his cheeks and pinch them gently she tip toed to kiss on his nose love you Shaurya.
Both walked downstairs and Shaurya pass his suitcase to Awara to keep in the car boot, he gets blessings from all the elders. First time Shaurya hugged Harish papa, he wished him best of luck Shaurya beta I know you can make thousands of business deals. He thanked his dad and ask all of them to take care of themselves. Mehak followed him to the car and she reminded him to call her whenever got time and take care of himself, he asked her to get the driver to bring her wherever she is going or ask Vicky to bring her not to go anywhere alone , she asked why suddenly you saying like this. He looked around and kissed on her soft cheek and said I don’t want anyone take my laddoo away when I am away and he gets into the car. He ask her to take care of herself and others at home will come once all settled. He left to airport.
Mehak get back in the house and all were busy talking. Harish papa asked beta can you prepare something special for tea time today. Karuna maa teased him, just because she is in house today you are demanding her for snack and all. Mehak smiled at them, Karuna maa continues do you think this is cooking competition you will say something and she need to come up with unique recipes and prepare within certain time. Don’t bully my daughter. Mehak leans on Karuna maa’s shoulder and said maa, papa wants to try something so it’s my turn to do something and get his compliment. Khanna’s enjoy talking with each other.
At evening Mehak came up with something savory kind of snack with the chutney and her masala ginger tea for all. Harish papa took the entire plate and said my bahu did for me so it’s for me only Karuna maa pulled the plate from him and said don’t be like child. He kept complimenting Mehak saying beta I never had something like this in my life. Karuna after this please don’t enter kitchen, I am bored of your cooking. I only wants food prepared by my bahu. By the way bahu what is this name of this dish. Mehak said I haven’t name it yet it’s made of sweet potato, and green peas. Chutney is made of unripe mango. All sat and think for a while and Dolly maasi give a wonderful hint for the dish name.
After dinner Mehak change to her pyjamas kurta and lie down on the bed on her tummy with her I Pad, she was uploading the photo of the dish she prepared in her Facebook account, just then Shaurya face timed her. He just said baby I missing you already, Mehak look at him and giggled at his cute tone. Then he asked what you were doing since I left Delhi, she told him from the snack she prepared and how papa telling maa not to enter kitchen anymore. Hearing this Shaurya retorted my biwi is not meant to be in kitchen I need her too for myself. Mehak giggled hearing him. She asked whtr he had his dinner or not, he said yes had dinner earlier before returning to hotel. He give her flying kiss and ask her to sleep well will call back in the morning before he goes out for exhibition, Mehak blows him flying kiss and turn off her I Pad. After playing with her mobile she dozed off.
