Sonal joined others for dinner. Mehak checks at kitchen and moves towards dining area, Shaurya came from nowhere pull her to the store room. He cover her mouth with his palm and grinning wickedly. She push his palm away and looked at him in confusion she asked what you doing? He asked her what you are doing. She responded as nothing just busy as its function house and she is checking and that’s all. He pull her closer to his chest, looked deep into her eyes. Mehak try to move but he didn’t let her to move. He continues, these rasgullas eyes can’t lie and don’t try to lie to me. Saw you busy cooking and making something for my dad. Why are you doing all these? As it is its tiring day for you but you went to make new dishes for him. Do you think he will change his mind on you and accept you as daughter in law? He only loves himself and he is like that since I ever know. Mehak cling her arms around Shaurya’s neck she caresses his neck gently to cool him down. Mehak said I don’t do this so he can accept me as daughter in law Shaurya. I do this so papaji will be happy and he will eat. Think and see he just got back home after 6 months and we are celebrating Lohri here with all guests here he wanted to eat something that he wants and just because it’s a vegetarian day we can’t serve non vege today. He will be upset right? If he is upset Maa also will be disturbed right? That’s why I tried some new technique and tried a new dish which is also healthy for him. I saw him enjoying the food and I am happy that’s all I want. Besides that he is my Shaurya’s papa. How can I be angry with him? If he didn’t accept now it’s okay one day it will come he will like me. It’s okay to give lots of love to someone one day we will have the love in return to us. Now its festival day don’t get upset please she cupped his chin and ask him to smile. He rested his forehead on hers and kissed on her forehead. Then he with his naughty tone asked papa asked for food you prepared for him, but back in Patiala you promised me something remember? She asked curiously what promise. He traces her lips with his long s*xy finger, Mehak remembers about their encounter at the hut her cheeks turns red. So now you remember right? Mehak looks down. From outside the store room, Dolly maasi asked Awara did you see Mehak bahu, he answered just now she was here but now don’t know where she went. She was calling for Mehak’s name as passing the store room both in the store laughing quietly. Shaurya opens the door slowly and he checked if anyone there no one was there so he asked Mehak to go first, she went near the door and came back to him , hold his chin turn to her lips and kiss on the s*xy mole above his left lip she curved a smile as she see him , she left. Shaurya smiled alone touching his mole still feeling her lips warmth on him.
Mehak goes out and joined others for dinner. Dolly maasi saw her and asked her where did she went, Mehak said she was in washroom. Dolly maasi asked her to get some food and eat with Shaurya. She gets some food and sat waiting for him to come. Shaurya came and saw her and he was smiling at her. Dolly maasi saw him and ask him to come sit together and eat together. He came and sat next to Mehak, she started to feed him. He feed her as well. In between his finger roam around her arms drawing some patterns. Mehak with her eyes warned him not to do anything. As the dinner over and everyone started to leave. Karuna maa asked Sharma’s to join them tomorrow for Makar Sankranti. They wished them and leave Khanna Mansion.
All went into the house, Karuna maa gifted Mehak new dress and jewelries, Mehak said your blessings is the biggest gift in our life why you always giving me so much of all these. I don’t wear any of them too. Karuna maa tell her she is her daughter and she will give everything to her. Also elder’s gives gifts as blessings too don’t say no. Mehak gets her blessings and Karuna maa asked her to go rest as she was travelling and papa like the snacks you prepared. Thank you beta, Mehak kisses on her cheek and wished her good night and left the living room. All retired to their rooms. Vicky and Shaurya came inside home. Vicky asked Shaurya for some time as they need to discuss some urgent matters on White Chilies. Shaurya saw Mehak going upstairs and he moved to the study room to discuss business matters. Mehak at their room put away the gifts on the dressing table, she remove her earrings and bangles. She change to her pajama kurta. She sat on the bed and waited for Shaurya while browsing her mobile. She was seeing the pictures taken back in the Patiala wedding. Nehal did send some pictures taken during Lohri just now. She was seeing and checked the time her eyes get tired and she fell asleep.
After sometime Shaurya came to the room lock the door and saw Mehak was fast asleep. He change his pyjamas and slid next to her, resting on his elbow he tucked the tendrils near her cheek. He planted a kiss on her cheek. Mehak smiled in her sleep and he kissed her fingers watching her sleeping. He drifted to sleep as well.
Next day morning, Mehak wakes up she saw Shaurya’s arm was on her waist. She gently move his hand and peck on his jawline. She gets up and goes to freshen up. She came out wiping and detangling her wet hair. She puts on her earrings and bangles. Went near to Shaurya who is still in deep slumber, he was smiling in his sleep and swiftly move to get her mobile and lie next to him taking selfie. Once done she put the mobile away and try to off from the bed but Shaurya held her by her waist and wished her good morning, surprised by his act, Mehak replied good morning patidev. Why you are late today waking up not going for your morning sprint is it. He inhales her hair which smells fruity. He looked at her and smile as he plays with her large earrings. She asked him to get freshen up and come downstairs today is Makar Sankranti. He takes a deep breath and said I don’t like Makar Sankranti, she looked at him with question look, he continues because I don’t know how to fly the kite. Every time since young I tried flying my kite will snapped half way and all will be laughing and make fun out of me. Also to me it’s the most time wasting thing to do. Mehak looked at him and clamp her lips to control from laughing but she couldn’t ended up laughing at him. He asked what’s so funny now to laugh like that. She said I always fly kites at the society since young with all the neighbors. Jaggu taught me when I was young. But my hubby the business entrepreneur don’t know how to fly kite. Then you should come to join me I will teach you how to fly kite. He crushed her body with his and didn’t let her to move. He asked her you promise me something and I came to room saw you sleeping. So now you are not going anywhere let’s stay at room. Mehak’s eye grew big asked him if he crazy or what. All waiting for her and she need to help with the function and he is started talking rubbish. She tries to push him but Shaurya keep being naughty on her grazing her neck with his stubbles and admire her giggles. She asked him to stop it but he ignored till Mehak kiss on his nose. He ask to kiss on lips then only will let her go, she ask him to shower first then only you will get or else none. Before he leaves to shower he pecked on her lips and run to bathroom. Mehak adjusted her dress and check herself at the mirror and gets to the kitchen to check on the preparations.
Shaurya came down wearing kurta. The entire family gathered for breakfast, Mehak was serving breakfast to all. Harish papa also were there. Karuna maa asked Mehak to sit down next to Shaurya and eat together as she will serve all. Harish papa enjoyed the home meal. Dolly maasi asked him how is the food, is been ages since all sit and together like this. He said yes and eating the breakfast, he asked who prepared the breakfast today very tasty, cannot be Awara or yourself Karuna? Karuna maa smiles and says Mehak did all the breakfast, since she is came here I hardly enters the kitchen. He looked at Mehak and said its nice bahu and continue to eat. Mehak smiles as Shaurya looks on. Dolly maasi said quickly eat and come let’s go play kites. Weather looks good. Shall we do competition? Vicky said maasi we all don’t know about this kite flying maybe we just watch, she looked at Shaurya, and he said I am also not in the mood for kites. Mehak interrupts and said maasi don’t ask these two brothers lets go and enjoy ourselves.
Sharma’s came to Khanna’s. Together with all they started to tie the maanja rope to the kite and try lift the kite. Jeevan chachu with Sonal, Mohit with Nehal, Ravi chachu with Mansi chachi. Mehak asked Shaurya to come he raised his hands in surrender motion and say sorry babe I can’t help , she look at Vicky he laughed bhabhi sorry I can’t as well. She just ask them go away and start to do it on her own. Harish papa saw her being alone and he thought about what Karuna said last night. Since her presence in Khanna mansion the home become lively, more love is there, she respects all at home very well. He started to think maybe she is not gold digger as I was thinking. It was my son who transfer all the wealth and property to her , she came to give back to us as well but the Bewakoof son of mine add in a clause say that she cannot return it back. Maybe I am being hard on her unnecessarily. He gets up from the lawn and walks towards the place where all busy with their kites. All enjoying and showing their supports for their favorite team. Mehak’s kite didn’t even manage to get to the sky as she needed more help of someone. Karuna maa, Dolly maasi , Kanta chachi saw Harish papa going to the kite playing spot and asking where is he going is he going to fly kite too , Karuna maa answered I don’t know I never seen him playing kites. He went to Mehak and say bahu you bring the kite and let it be fly and I will control the maanja string. She was surprised and didn’t move. He called bahu quick take the kite up, her voice trembled and asked papa are you talking to me, he replied her yes quickly we have to fly the kite now. Mehak quickly take the kite and move out and let it in the air, Harish papa controls the maanja string. Mehak joins him and screaming in excitement. Kanta chachi hugs Karuna maa saying finally on this festival day now Harish Bhai also have accepted Mehak as bahu. Now I am so happy and I believe all will be good for her behenji. All at the lawn screaming and showering their supports for their favorite team. Shaurya and Vicky walks toward the lawn and Shaurya looked up when he hears Mehak’s voice screaming papaji careful with our kite she was holding the maanja string and Harish papa was controlling flying them . He was surprised that his dad is paired up with Mehak and Vicky asked bhaiya is it something wrong with my eyes or is it true what is in front of my eyes. Shaurya smiled and said looks like its true Vicky. Dad and Mehak flying kite together as a team. Vicky continues that means papa have accepted bhabhi as daughter now bhaiya and he hugs Shaurya side ways to wish him, Shaurya smiles and both walks to the lawn join others. Shaurya stand together with Karuna maa. Karuna maa sees him and hugged him, Shaurya see now papa has accepted Mehak and he is also being new person. I am so happy beta seeing this. I have always believe Mehak has the capability is changing you and correct everything in our family today after seeing this I felt she did it. Shaurya smiled proudly looking at both playing kite. He remembers what she said yesterday, one day he will realize that she is being genuine and will accept her as bahu. Then he looked at Karuna maa whose wife is she? That’s why she knows all tricks and tactics to change people and all. Karuna maa looked at him and pulls his ears playfully and said talk nice about my daughter. Or else I will ask her to correct you as well. Jeevan chachu and Sonal team won. Harish papa and Mehak came second. He told her its okay beta next time we will win. She smiled and quickly bend down to touch his feet to get his blessings. He blessed her and he also hug all the men from Sharma’s and said maybe I didn’t get to know you all earlier forgive me if I was rude to you all. Daduji said we all are humans and do mistakes too. I also been very badly to Mehak earlier but she been patience with my attitude. Today is a celebration day let’s all celebrate happily as one family. All agreed and Karuna maa called Awara and asked him to prepare proper feast, she told them that all are vegetarians and the dishes all must be vegetarians as well. He asked how about sir, he won’t eat vegetarian, and she said okay you go first I will think of something. Shaurya sneakily came behind Mehak and blow air on her shoulder, she turned and saw him standing behind her, and she asked what with her brows raised. He smiled and said I saw someone playing kite with dad, is it true or something with my eyes. She asked why you think it’s not true. I told you right papa will accept me so matarani has heard my prayers. Shaurya naughtily asked can you ask something also to Matarani, she asked what tell me. I want to go for honeymoon with my wife where no one will disturb us and just us only. She looked at him and winked at him naughtily. She kissed on his cheek and said you are completely crazy Shaurya. Vicky played music at the lawn and all joined to dance. Mehak asked Shaurya to come and dance, even didn’t help me to fly kite, he looked at her and said if I helped you how papa will join with you. So this also happens because of me you know saying with pulling his collar higher. Mehak beat on his bicep and say you always like to praise yourself right? So much attitude then she blew off. Mohit came and pull both of them dance together. Shaurya danced with all while Mehak dance happily both stealing glances from each other. Later Kanta Chachi and Mansi chachi hold each other hands did Giddha swirling. Mehak and Nehal did the same. All clapping and cheering for both as they swirl crazily laughing madly. Shaurya took his mobile out capture few shots simultaneously in various angles as Mehak swirl. Then both fell on the ground still laughing happily. Mohit and Ravi chachu went to give them a hand and lifted them.
All sat as family and enjoyed meal together, Mehak with Dolly maasi and Karuna maa served all. Mehak asked Karuna maa sit together and enjoy as she will do. She went to kitchen and saw Awara is attempting some new dish which she taught him some time ago done with brinjal, she looked at it and ask him to add more spices and slow down the fire or else the brinjal will burnt easily. He manage to do some dishes out of panneer and snacks. Mehak took and went to serve to all, all happily chit chatting and enjoying the meals. Mehak passed some to Harish papa and he called her beta, she bend to listen to him he whispered to her, yesterday the snack you did was simply superb is it mutton kofta, can you do for me again, she smiled and said yes will definitely do for you again papaji. Now enjoy the meal. He asked her to sit as well. She nodded and came to sit next to Vicky, Shaurya sign at him to move, Vicky moved away from Shaurya and ask Mehak to sit next to bhaiya. She smiled and sit she adjusted her seat and wanted to get some food, but as usual Shaurya hold her hand and didn’t let her to move, she give him a warning look and ask to let go. He ignores and continue to eat. Kanta chachi asked Mehak why you are not eating, she tries to answer and Karuna maa quickly responded she must be tired because been busy with all preparations, Shaurya why don’t you feed your wife. He smiled and said okay ma as you wish then he start to feed her, he give her a wicked grin, as he put in the food in Mehak’s mouth she bite his finger. He yelped. All looked at him and asked what happen now. He said nothing just something happens. Mehak smiled at him and asked him to feed her quickly as she is so hungry now.
