Megha, maintaining composure, advises him to hate her if necessary but not himself. She expresses concern for Arjun, warning that his uncontrolled anger could damage his reputation.
Arjun, driven by an unsettling blend of emotions, halts the car briefly before confessing that he finds peace only when tormenting Megha. He brazenly declares that he cannot sleep without doing so. Megha, heartbroken yet resolute, asserts that she belongs solely to him and permits him to seek peace, even if it means torturing or killing her.
Arjun takes her disturbing statement to heart, fastening her seatbelt and daring her to die with him. In a reckless display, he begins drinking while driving. Megha, terrified, pleads for him to stop the dangerous stunt. She reminds him of Shagun, who has already lost her husband, and warns that Shagun cannot afford to lose her son too. Arjun, however, remains consumed by bitterness, blaming Megha for his father’s demise.
Desperate to de-escalate the situation, Megha reveals a shocking truth—she is pregnant. The revelation momentarily stuns Arjun, who becomes distracted, resulting in a car accident. Both Arjun and Megha lose consciousness. Onlookers rush to the scene. Megha regains consciousness and frantically tries to wake Arjun. She quickly calls Navjot for assistance.
Navjot and Sikandar soon arrive at the crash site. While Navjot takes charge, she scolds Megha for her persistent involvement with Arjun. Arjun, regaining consciousness, is escorted away by Navjot and Sikandar. Despite the tension, Arjun casts a lingering glance at Megha, accompanied by the show’s melancholic title track.
Later, Navjot attributes Arjun’s survival to divine blessings. Shagun arrives, but Navjot harshly rebukes her for failing to care for her son properly. Megha, meanwhile, sits alone, reflecting on her tumultuous relationship with Arjun. She gazes at her mangalsutra, recalling the significance of their bond and the recent car accident. Ranjeeta, concerned for Megha, brings food and feeds her.
Ranjeeta questions Megha about her whereabouts. Megha admits that she was with Arjun and that he took her for a long drive. Ranjeeta voices her unease, suggesting that Navjot might be right about Megha and Arjun’s problematic relationship. She wonders aloud if ending the relationship would be wise. Megha firmly responds that giving up is easy, but her upbringing has taught her to persevere through challenges.
Ranjeeta shares some uplifting news—her suspension has been lifted, and she suspects Arjun’s involvement. Megha is elated by the news, acknowledging that Arjun, despite his flaws, still cares. She remains hopeful that he just needs time to heal and find clarity.
The following day, Megha accompanies Ranjeeta to the police station, expressing gratitude to Arjun for resolving her friend’s suspension issue. However, Arjun maintains a guarded demeanor, warning Ranjeeta that his life is in danger and that Megha should keep her distance from him.
