The Episode starts with Sadanand asking Manu her name, and she says it’s Megha. Manu remembers how Megha once gifted her a kada and holds it tightly.
Sadanand and Kavita take Manu to the bus stand. They arrive at Dhilli’s place, where he welcomes them with music and dancing. His wife offers Manu kheer and asks her to rest. Manu, feeling strange, imagines Megha comforting her. Megha reminds her to stay strong and hopeful.
A girl named Jasleen enters and mocks Manu. Dhilli’s wife scolds Jasleen and takes her away. Later, Manu sees everyone applying black cream on their faces. Dhilli tells his sister Heer to prepare Manu for a job, but Heer questions involving a child. Dhilli insists. When Manu refuses, Dhilli slaps her.
Dhilli later pushes Manu in front of a car. The passengers assume the group are robbers because of the black cream. Dhilli and his gang attack them. Manu comforts a scared kid, but he blames her for his father’s death and pushes her.
Elsewhere, Manoj tells Sadanand that Manu must be safe for 10 years and shows her photo to someone in the dark. He plans to sell her once she grows up. Manu, unaware of this, burns the stolen goods.
