Shlok and his family are gathered for a meal. While sitting at the table, Sumeet notices Poonam and recalls her words about Shlok’s future being secured if she leaves him. She approaches her dad to ask if Shlok is making any sacrifices to be with her. Her dad denies such claims and invites her to join the meal. However, Sumeet still has doubts. Masoom talks to Jitesh about convincing Abhay and Vani to leave the house, but Shagun asserts that the property now belongs to her, giving her the decision-making power.
Shagun taunts Masoom for staying in her parents’ house. She predicts that even her daughter Vani will face hardships and blames Sumeet for it. Shagun declares her intention to create a situation where Raj will have to choose between Vani and Sumeet. Rajiv notices an expensive tomato in the salad and inquires who cut it. Sumeet apologizes and explains that tomatoes are nutritious and provide energy after fasting. Masoom informs Vani that she’ll suffer because of Sumeet, vowing not to let her live in peace.
Masoom calls Poonam to mockingly mention that their lives are about to change with the arrival of a wealthy daughter-in-law. Suddenly, Shagun arrives and her goons start creating chaos by throwing things around. Shagun claims ownership of the house, presenting registry papers in her name. Dad explains that the house was in her husband’s name, and she has shared the property equally among her sons. Shagun taunts them, announcing that from now on, they will go hungry and asserts that Sumeet’s entry into the house has led to their eviction.
Shagun labels Sumeet as inauspicious. In response, Sumeet reminds Shagun of Raunak, who is suffering due to her influence. Shlok realizes that he can’t find the house papers in Ashok’s room. Shagun suggests that he might have lost them in gambling due to his drinking habits. Sumeet proposes getting a copy of the papers from the registrar’s office, but Shlok reminds her that the office must be closed at night. Shagun manipulates Poonam, urging her not to seek Raj’s help and to take all the family members to Rai’s house instead.
Shagun orders her goons to force everyone out of the house. Sumeet confronts Shagun angrily, questioning her actions. Shagun claims that they need to suffer alongside her. She coerces Anju to remove her earrings and demands that everyone hand over their jewelry. Sumeet refuses to wear her jewelry if her family can’t wear theirs. Shagun even tries to take Poonam’s mangalsutra, leading to Shlok’s anger. Dadi curses Shagun, who pushes her roughly. However, Sumeet prevents Dadi from getting hurt. Shagun informs Poonam that she’s well aware of the price Shlok is paying for being with Sumeet, and now all their family members are paying the price. Shlok and his family on the streets.
