Recap- Part 4
(Kunj’s POV)
Ok. Ok. Ok
I need to calm down..Breathe Kunj Breathe. Ughh.. No!
I can’t stay calm!!
I got up from my chair for the 10th time this evening. It was now 6:40 pm. The entire day i spent looking for Yuvi,Leela and Twinkle but no damn luck. I don’t know where else to look. Where could they have taken her?
I sighed and walked upto our room. Her scent was still there and so was her warmth. I started imagining her in everywhere possible but she just couldn’t come to reality. She couldn’t come in front of me. I gave up. I decided to go wait till tomorrow for the party and I’m 100% sure i will see her there. Masquerade party? Hmm .. Not bad. Even under all those masks, i will recognise my Twinkle.
As the sun began to set the next day, i dressed quickly since it was time for the party. I can’t wait to see Twinkle!
I wore a black suit and black masquerade wala mask to match. Must admit, i looked dashing. I smiled for a bit but it didn’t feel right without Twinkle. My reason to smile is Twinkle and she isn’t here. I have to find her today else those two will get the signature easily.
I drove off and left for the party.
Damn. That was fast. I’m here already. Oh well, better late than never. Before leaving the car, i glanced over in the back seat and smiled seeing a red packet lying there with roses next to it. “Don’t worry, I’m coming back to you!” I said and left the car.
Oh wow this party was in full swing and guess what? I knew no one here. Great! They all had on masks. How am i going to find at least Yuvi or Leela if not Twinkle?

I swarmed through the crowd which was already on the dance floor and went to the only woman who hadn’t a mask on which was my guess, the host of the party. She saw me coming and smiled. I smiled back and kissed her hand. “Ms Yami Samrat?” I asked and she nodded. “And you?”
“Kunj Sarna. I’m related to Leela Taneja.” I said and she thought for a while. “Ah yes. Leela and her son Yuvraj?” She asked and i frowned but hid it. “blo*dy idiots!” I thought. “Um yes. Was there anyone else with them? A girl perhaps?” I asked her meaning to know where’s Twinkle. “No. I don’t think so.” She said and then excused herself. What? Where was Twinkle if not with them!?
Guess I’ll have to keep looking.
There was a counter nearby so i decided to get a drink and start my search. I bumped into a guy with brown blazor on my way and i turned to say sorry when i realised that it was Yuvi. His mask was not on and he seemed as if he was in a hurry and thank god, he didn’t spot me. I quickly hid my face mumbled sorry and hurried away. I ordered a soft drink and saw him again not far by and decided to keep an eye on him. Minutes later i saw him walking arm in arm with a woman dressed in a black strapless dress with slits up to her thighs and silver mask. She was really drunk since she kept trying to stand straight near him.
Wait.. No.. That can’t be Twinkle. She doesn’t wear that type of clothes unless maybe this fool forced her to.
“Yeh bhagwan please send a sign. Help me find Twinkle ASAP!
Please tell me if I’m right or wrong about this girl.” I prayed. To my surprise and luck, Yuvi was bringing her to the bar. I smiled and felt myself winking at God.
“Baby, you stay here. I’ll be right back. OK? Just wait here. Here, I’ll pay for more shots. Waiter, please give her some more.” He said and paid the man behind the counter. But he didn’t move. “Sir, this girl is already very drunk. I can’t give her more.”
I looked up at them and found it strange that the bar tender wasn’t going to give any more shots to her but then of course, unsurprisingly, Yuvi paid the man and said, “You keep your mouth shut and do your work before i get u fired.” With that said Yuvi left leaving the girl in her drunken state alone. I was about to leave when i heard her voice. “Bhai sab, its OK. You don’t need to give me more. Keep the money.” I was stunned. I took off my mask and turned to the girl. “Twinkle???” She turned around immediately and slipped herask off also and looked at me. “Kunj!” It was her! Omg! “Twinkle! Are you OK? Did they..?” She didn’t let me continue my question. Twinkle jumped right into my arms and squeezed me into a tight hug. “Kunj! I was waiting so long for you to show up!” She released me and started hitting me while we both had tears on our eyes. I just kept smiling at her childishness. “Why? Why did u take so long to come here? Kunj! I thought you left me! You idiot!”
“Oh God!” I held both her hands for her to stop hitting me and she looked at me and started crying. I smiled and hugged her. “You know I’ll never leave you. I was dying to see you Twinkle. Are you ok?” She broke the hug and i wiped her tears. “I’m ok.”
“What did they do to you after they took you away? And where the hell did you go? I legit looked everywhere for you!” I asked and she replied without hesitation. “They took me to papa’s old studio. After papa died, he left me his favourite place in the world. But i didn’t know it existed until he took me there the day before he died. Maa.. I’m sorry .. Leela tied me up in a room all day until this morning she untied me to eat and ready for the party. Yes they gave me this terrible dress. I feel so exposed. I’m sorry kunj. I hadn’t a choice but to wear it. They kept threatening me that they’ll harm you and i didn’t want to lose the only person i have in my life. Sorry Kunj.”
I cupped Twinkle’s face then hugged her. “Its ok yaar. At least now i know how much you care for me.” I said sarcastically and she punched me hard in the abdomen. “Oww! Twinkle! We just met yaar!” She smiled. Then i remembered. “Twinkle! Put on your masks. Let’s go.” I said. “Kaha?” I pulled her to the parking lot and pulled out the red packet and gave it to her. “Here i bought this for you.” I said. “What is it?” She asked. I went close to her ear and whispered, “This is something to show how much i appreciate you in my life.” I moved away and saw her blushing. I smiled then winked at her and said, “Its a dress for my beloved.” “Thank you.” She said quietly. “Shall i go change then?” She asked innocently. I nodded. She started to leave but then i pulled her back. “Twinkle, umm, can’t you change in the car?” I asked and saw her widen her eyes. “Yaar, i won’t look i promise!” I said assuringly. “Haa I know you won’t but why can’t i go in the washroom?”
“Twinkle, i don’t want you to go in there again and Yuvi or Leela have to find you. So its better if u change here. I promise i won’t look at you and haa I’ll also keep a watch out for you. Pakka!” I replied and she laughed and pulled my cheek. “Okay Kunj.”
(25 mins later- (Sorry guys but I don’t want to drag on the epi))
“Umm Kunj?” I turned around and nearly dropped dead. Damn! I was speechless. “Uh-h, Twwink-le?” I said trying to find my words. “What? Does it look bad?” She asked. “Are you crazy Twinkle? Bad!? Wtf?” I thought.
I managed to gain conscious and smiled. “Twinkle, you are looking drop dead gorgeous aur haa..” I smirked and pulled her closer to me and completed my praise, “Firing hot.”
*Eyelock*

“Thank you Kunj.” I smiled and kissed her forehead. “So, challe?” She asked. “Where?” I asked and then I saw her expressions changed and i realised we had unfinished business to attend to. “Twinkle, we’ll have to go. We still have to expose them else they will follow you your entire life and i won’t like to see you unhappy in future. Don’t you want this to end?” She nodded and then sighed. “Okay. Let’s go.” She started walking but i pulled her back. She Gave.me a what wala face and i went behind her put on her mask and also another gift i bought her. A silver dove pendant which matched her outfit and also made her even more beautiful. She looked like an angel. Her dress was navy blue with black lace designs at the end of the dress and the sleeves. It was a long sleeved dress with simple designs. Just the type Twinkle loved wearing. It was long with a mermaid tail at the bottom (where of course was the lace designs). I was really lost in her until she snapped me out of her dreamworld and yelled, “Oh hello! Where are you lost?” I smiled and said, “In you of course.” She smiled and motioned for us to go. While we were walking, i remembered i had an important question to ask her. “Twinkle?” “Haa?”
I stopped her and led her away from the entrance of the party. “Why were you acting drunk in front of Yuvi and as soon as he left you were back to normal?”
Twinkle widened her eyes and slapped her forhead. “Oh shit! Haa! I knew i had something to tell you. Kunj, i overheard their plan.”
“Kya? You overheard their plan? And now you’re telling me!” I said alarmed but then she caught me by answering, “Oh hello, i wasn’t the distractive one!” She said and i bit my tongue. “Acha sorry. So what’s the plan?”
“Actually, i over heard piece of it which was they were going to make me drink until I’m really not in my senses and then i heard something about advantage. Probably Yuvi was going to take advantage to me and that’s why he gave me that witch’s dress. He kept touching me here and there. Trust me i really wanted to slap him.”
“How dare he?! Wait i won’t leave him!” I yelled. This was getting out of hand. Twinkle held my hand and made Me look at her. “Kunj, we have to be calm. We have to play along and at the right moment we’ll catch them. Ok?” I nodded. We walked into the party a few minutes later when i felt a heavy hand on my mouth. I was being pulled away from the party and i looked over at Twinkle and the same was being done to her. I tried to call out to her but suddenly i felt something being sprayed infront of me and blam! I fell unconscious.
Episode ends on Twinkle and Kunj being abducted from the party.
