Mareez-E-Ishq (Prologue)

I’m back with another part.

First of all thank you for your support. It means a lot. I know the previous part of the story was a bit short. Actually it was to be published with the introduction but due to some technical issues it did not get published. And the characters introduced were also less. But, there are more characters which will be introduced when they appear in the story.

Lets begin with the Prologue.

Prologue

The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground. The slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky. With a little bit of drizzling outside, the weather was pleasant. But all of a sudden one could hear tapping on the window and then it became a pitter-patter. People ran for cover outside and umbrellas were opened as the clouds spat out their beads of water. Puddles began plinking as the rainfall became heavier. The roofs of the cars danced with spray and one could hear the murmuring of the rain through the window. It sounded like the buzzing of angry bees. One such car headed down a desolate street. There were two persons sitting inside the car.

Person 1: You know what, today he pro..

Person 2: Shut up and concentrate on driving.

Person 1:Listen or else in this rainy weather I would not hesitate to throw you out.

Person 2: Ok. Shoot.

Person 1: (looking towards the second person) You know when I was going towards the library, he stopped me and..

Person 2: Be careful.

Person 1: No first you listen.

Person 2: Don’t be so stubborn and see forward.

Before the first person could see forward, a truck came at high speed and crashed with the car. The car flipped on the road many times and the road was stained with blood. The truck was no where to be seen.

Within seconds, ambulance arrived in a blur of light; sirens could be heard from miles away. The paramedic team rushed out of it and took the patients towards the hospital.
