Sagar demands Arohi call her friend Rithvika and put the phone on speaker. When Rithvika answers, she unknowingly asks Arohi about her recent trip to Pune, questioning why she’s calling from her mother Sarada’s phone. Raja Ram interrupts, revealing that the family is at the hostel for an inquiry and urges Rithvika to come immediately. Realizing his accusations are causing a crisis, Sagar apologizes to Sarada, who becomes dizzy at the thought of having to publicly humiliate herself with a slipper.
Confronted by her mother, Arohi admits she went to Pune. Sagar creates a scene until Raja Ram intervenes, fabricating a story that she went to transfer a bank account and signaling Arohi to agree. Rithvika arrives and corroborates the false story, claiming she was supposed to accompany Arohi to a wedding but couldn’t. When Sagar brings up the matrimonial profile, Rithvika exposes him by showing everyone a profile he created, a trap set up earlier by Abhishek.
Defeated, Sagar drops the issue but insists on marrying Arohi immediately, demanding she quit her studies and change her name to Pallavi. An enraged Abhishek looks on as Sarada fiercely defends her daughter, declaring that Arohi will not be sold and will only marry after her final exams. After the confrontation, Raja Ram gifts Arohi a new phone, but Sagar secretly warns her that his goons are watching her constantly.
As Abhishek drives Arohi away, followed by Sagar’s men, he panics for her safety. Believing he is not her destined soulmate, he pleads with his friend Varun to marry her instead, insisting that Varun fits the qualities she needs.
