Kailash announces to Arohi’s family that the wedding will take place on the 26th. Maami objects, citing a function in their village, but Kailash insists they skip it and confirms he will bring the barat on that day. Sarada raises concerns that the marriage is being fixed without consulting the horoscope or panchang, accusing Kailash of pre-deciding the date. Kailash denies this, insisting the 26th suits them best. Raja Ram agrees to the same date, prompting Kailash to mock his delayed response, while Sarada counters with jibes about Kailash dominating all conversations. Kailash refuses to budge, declaring the wedding and bidai will happen in a single day.
Sarada strongly opposes, insisting on a traditional three-day Maharashtrian wedding with haldi, mehendi, and sangeet. She questions Kailash’s intentions in discussing the alliance if he is unwilling to respect their customs. When Kailash remains silent, Kundan intervenes, but Sarada accuses them of disrespecting guests and rejecting their gifts. He insults them, calling their offerings cheap, leaving Arohi distressed. Abhishek defends Arohi’s side, while Sarada protests that her daughter is not a slave and deserves dignity in her in-laws’ house.
The argument escalates as Kailash accuses Sarada of crossing limits, while Sarada counters that her daughter will suffer like the other women in his family. Arohi intervenes, declaring the marriage will not happen until both families learn mutual respect. She urges Kailash to treat his wife as an equal partner, citing Ram–Sita, Shiv–Parvati, and Lakshmi–Narayan as examples. Though Abhishek tries to pacify her, Arohi remains firm. Defying his father, Abhishek vows to marry only Arohi.
Later, Raja Ram attempts to persuade Sarada, but she refuses to send Arohi into Kailash’s household. Amid the tension, Sabita creates chaos at home, and Raja Ram suffers a heart attack. Bua, pretending to be possessed by Rudrama’s soul, demands Kailash fix Abhishek and Arohi’s marriage while using their land to please the MLA. Sabita denies financial help to Arohi, forcing Abhishek to settle the bill himself. In the end, Kailash apologizes to Arohi.
