Arohi tries to call Abhishek, but he is distracted. Meanwhile, at home, Kanika and Mannat inform Anuradha that the auspicious time to break their fast is ending, but their husbands are stuck in a meeting. Anuradha laments that their husbands don’t care about their hunger. Overhearing this, Abhishek vows not to let his mother and aunt suffer. Defying his father Kailash’s rules, he brings them to the office.
He interrupts a crucial board meeting, introducing them to a client. He chastises the men for letting their wives starve and facilitates the ritual breaking of the fast on the spot. The client is impressed by the family’s values, and Bua praises Abhishek. However, Kailash is furious and slaps Abhishek for his insubordination, even threatening to disown him, a threat Abhishek accepts.
Simultaneously, Arohi is being terrorized by Sagar. After imagining Abhishek in danger, she discovers she is being followed. Ignoring Rithvika’s warnings, she meets Sagar alone. He forces her to wear a saree and threatens to kill Abhishek. When she tries to defend herself with pepper spray and a knife, he disarms her and tries to assault her. A desperate Rithvika calls Abhishek to alert him of Arohi’s dire situation as Sagar forces her to agree to marry him.
