Vikrant and Mannat perform a puja together, and he tells her that since he completed the ritual with her, their relationship can never break. He reveals that he has arranged the divorce papers and will sign them soon so he can marry her. Mannat says he is rushing, but Vikrant insists she is about to lose her freedom. They share some lighthearted moments. Later, Mannat serves breakfast to Saluja. When Aishwarya asks about Shruti, Mannat explains she is resting and takes food for her room. Secretly, she hopes to uncover the truth. She informs Vikrant that the crane incident wasn’t caused by Anirudh but by a girl in staff uniform—tall and fair. Mallika, noticing her stare, accuses Mannat of suspecting her, but Mannat denies naming anyone. Aishwarya glares at Mallika, while Vikrant insists Anirudh is behind
Mannat then visits Anirudh in jail. Though he is happy to see her, she firmly tells him she doesn’t trust him—he is a criminal who confessed in his file. Anirudh, however, claims innocence. Meanwhile, Vikrant hands Roni a file and questions his whereabouts. Roni admits he saw him with Mannat but reminds Vikrant that he is still married. Vikrant argues Mannat keeps her distance because of society’s judgment, but Roni warns that women always face blame for men’s mistakes. He recalls Aishwarya’s struggles, as Kiran still blames her, and advises Vikrant to protect Mannat until the divorce is finalized.
Later, Anirudh opens up to Mannat about his past. He confesses he once lived as a criminal but fell in love with Sonia. Though she initially filed a complaint against him, she later accepted his gifts and love. Wanting to give her a peaceful life, he became a security guard, but Sonia still wanted wealth. Determined to steal jewelry, she ignored his warnings. During the robbery, Sonia was shot, and Anirudh risked his life to save her but was arrested. When Sonia visited him in jail, she revealed she was pregnant and promised to admit her mistake so he could raise their child. Out of love, Anirudh stopped her, choosing to bear the blame himself. Later, Sonia cruelly told him their child had died and left him broken.
For 25 years, Anirudh lived with guilt until he rebuilt his life, becoming rich through business and the stock market. But when he encountered Aishwarya, he learned the shocking truth—she had lied. His child was alive. Mannat is his daughter.
