Roni informs Kiran that he has bailed Mallika out of jail. Kiran is furious, questioning why he brought Mallika to the house and stating she cannot bear to see her face. Mallika immediately launches into a performative apology, weeping and claiming that her sins were committed under her mother’s coercion. She pleads for forgiveness from a visibly disappointed Gagan.
Suspicious, Kiran demands to know what Mallika and her mother are planning now. Mallika craftily portrays herself as a victim, admitting her mother is cunning but claiming she obeyed her out of love and fear, leaving her with no other options. She begs her father, Gagan, for mercy. Gagan, however, defers the decision, stating he cannot unilaterally decide if she can stay.
All eyes turn to Vikrant, who, after a silent confirmation from his parents, lays down a condition for her stay: Mallika must sign the divorce papers. The demand leaves everyone in the room shocked. A desperate Mallika then turns to Mannat, confessing her wrongdoings with feigned guilt. She appeals to their sisterly bond, declaring her love for Vikrant and begging Mannat not to come between them, claiming he is all she has left.
Vikrant interjects sharply, accusing Mallika of shedding crocodile tears. He corrects her narrative forcefully, stating that Mannat never came between them; it was Mallika who orchestrated their separation. He reveals that Mannat had decided to leave him, but was blackmailed by Aishwarya using Shruthi’s life. He recounts how Mallika then trapped him into marriage, an act that filled him with guilt and brought shame from his parents. Declaring himself fed up with her lies and plots, he unequivocally states he needs a divorce.
When Mallika pleads with Kiran, she is coldly rebuffed. Kiran states that even if Vikrant allows her to stay, she does not want Mallika in her sight, adding that Mallika’s actions have proven Mannat was right all along. Raveena criticizes Vikrant, accusing him of using the situation to his advantage because another woman, Mannat, is in the picture. She contrasts this with her own decision to stand by Bobby despite his crimes.
Vikrant dismisses her argument, defending Mannat not as “another woman” but as his future wife and the rightful daughter-in-law of the household. He declares his love for Mannat, not Mallika.
Meanwhile, in a parallel scene, Anirudh signs some papers while Dhairya inquires about Vikrant, showing a growing interest in his background. Back at the Kapoor house, Mallika asks Neetu to reason with Vikrant, but Roni stops her. With his patience gone, Vikrant presents Mallika with an ultimatum: sign the divorce papers or return to jail. Seeing no support from a resolute Gagan, who also demands she sign, Mallika internally vows to never let Mannat marry Vikrant. Putting on a final act of remorse, she signs the papers. Vikrant thanks her, and Gagan praises the Vikrant-Mannat union.
In the concluding moments, Dhairya is seen investigating Vikrant’s past, while Vikrant, noticing Mannat’s distress, lightheartedly asks Shruthi to cook for him in an attempt to lift her spirits.
