Mannat confronts Mallika, revealing that Aishwarya Rai Singh—also known as Sonia Khanna—is her biological mother, who abandoned her at birth out of greed and selfishness. She accuses Aishwarya of trying to kill her own daughter, while ironically, Mallika just tried to harm her mother—proving they are truly alike. Mannat declares she’s ashamed to be Aishwarya’s daughter, and Mallika is shocked by the revelation. When Aishwarya attempts to justify herself, Mallika pushes her away and runs off. Aishwarya refuses to accept the truth and scolds Mannat for exposing it.
Mannat calmly responds that the only reason she’s shown any compassion is because she donated her liver to save Aishwarya. She adds that she came after overhearing their conversation and knew Aishwarya might frame her mother to protect Mallika. Mannat says that though she was raised by another woman, her real mother showed no mercy—proving that upbringing matters more than blood. She informs Aishwarya that a doctor has been contacted, and whether she chooses treatment is now her decision. Mannat then leaves with Shruthi.
Meanwhile, Mallika is haunted by Vikrant choosing Mannat over her and recalling Mannat’s claim to be her sister. She imagines Mannat challenging her to take everything away. Enraged, Mallika smashes a mirror. When Mannat arrives, Mallika accuses her of trying to steal everything—first Vikrant, now her mother—and violently strangles her. Mannat fights back and warns her never to touch her again. She insists she has no interest in claiming Aishwarya as her mother, as the pain Mallika feels now is the same pain she once felt on learning Shruthi wasn’t her real mother.
Mannat tells Mallika she doesn’t want a sister who would go to the extent of trying to kill their own mother for the sake of a secret. She says Mallika and Aishwarya are no different, and she’s ashamed of them both. Mannat explains she only returned to ask Aishwarya for help for her mom, and had even decided to leave the city—until Aishwarya forced her back.
Mallika offers her money to leave and cut ties, but Mannat refuses, stating she’s the co-owner of the restaurant and doesn’t need financial support. Mallika accuses her of trying to steal Vikrant. Mannat responds that Vikrant isn’t truly her husband—he was forced into the marriage, and she only returned to free him. Mallika vows revenge, but Mannat threatens to expose her. Mallika cruelly taunts Mannat, calling her an illegitimate child, while claiming her own legitimacy as Gagan and Aishwarya’s daughter. She storms out as Aishwarya arrives, only to bear the brunt of Mallika’s fury.
Later, Vikrant is seen working alone at the restaurant. When Mallika calls, he says Mannat isn’t there, so he has to work all night. However, Shruthi informs Mallika that Mannat is working at the restaurant, making Mallika suspicious of Vikrant’s lies.
At work, Vikrant scolds Mannat for her irresponsibility. Mannat apologizes for leaving without explanation and promises to work through the night. She introduces a new dessert, and Vikrant helps her, leading to a brief moment of closeness.
Just then, Mallika arrives with Neetu and Kiran, accusing Vikrant and Mannat of inappropriate behavior. She publicly humiliates them, accusing Vikrant of betraying her. Vikrant is hurt by the false accusations. While Neetu chooses to believe Vikrant, she continues to insult Mannat, who responds sharply before walking away. Vikrant later apologizes to his mother.
Meanwhile, Puneet complains about Mannat and Vikrant’s attitude. Mallika, still burning with jealousy, begins plotting with him to trap Mannat in a new scheme.
