Finally, Mallika reappears dressed up, acting normal. To avoid suspicion, she pretends she disliked wearing the same color as Mannat, hence her different outfit. But her mind races with thoughts of her unfinished sabotage. At this tense moment, Vikrant pulls Mannat aside, desperate for her answer. When she hesitates, he threatens to jump from the crane unless she agrees. As Mannat’s heart pounds in fear of losing him, Mallika seizes the moment—using the chaos to complete her final adjustments on the crane, ensuring that Vikrant’s next step may be his last.
