Mannat arranges a romantic dinner for Vikrant, and they share a dance. Hearing Mallika approach, Vikrant suddenly pushes Mannat away and loudly declares the date was for Mallika, not her. He cruelly asks how he could believe her “criminal father,” accusing her of choosing her family over his love. Catching his hint and spotting Mallika in the mirror, Mannat understands he is acting and plays along, retorting that he chose the “criminal” Mallika.
Meanwhile, Neetu warns Aishwarya that Vikrant must continue supporting Mallika. Aishwarya blackmails her, threatening to reveal to Vikrant that he is not Neetu’s son but was trafficked by her if she fails. Back at the dinner, Mannat feigns a fight with Vikrant, throwing water on him before storming off. Mallika, falling for the ruse, consoles Vikrant and delightedly takes Mannat’s place at the table, much to Mannat’s hidden jealousy.
The scene is interrupted when Neetu spots Vishaka, Vikrant’s real mother, and suffers a panic attack, fainting. Vikrant rushes home, where Aishwarya notes the attack seemed triggered by someone Neetu saw. Later, Neetu confesses to Roni that she saw Vishaka, revealing she is Vikrant’s biological mother.
In private, Vikrant and Mannat share a moment where she vents her frustration about his act with Mallika. To maintain their cover, Mannat then stages another loud argument, declaring she will find evidence against Aishwarya at the crime scene. This is a deliberate ploy to lure Aishwarya out, who immediately calls Mallika to warn her. As a worried Vikrant tries to follow Mannat, Neetu has another panic attack over the sighting of Vishaka, leaving him torn between concern for his wife and his mother
