The whistle tone of “pehla Nasha” rang in her mobile,waking the birthday girl up…She smiled listening the tone and swayed her head to the music…Her eyes widened looking the caller name,”Arjun”…
She jerked and got off the bed,and looked her room filled with streamers and color papers…Yes…her room mates celebrated her birthday at sharp12 midnight….She did enjoy the surprise and cake cutting…Today is a day off for her…she recalled the choco mouse cake,and its taste still lingering in her tongue….Somewhere a song played and she wiggled her brows,enjoying the lines…

“Now what did you do Arjun…”,she asked as she sagged on her bed .She was sure he will bring stories abt his stupidity….
“Nothing Geethu….!!”,he replied softly..
“No…say the truth…did you fight with Radz,again.”,she asked…She was tired being a peacemaker between them….
“I need a help…”he mumbled after a minute….
She closed her eyes…She can’t neglect him…A best friend any one would yearn for…”where should I come”,she asked silently….
“This is why I love you!..I will msg you the details”,he said..She was about to say something but he disconnected the call…
“Arjun, this is why you are in trouble man”..she mumbled herself and got ready….
On the way to her destination.,she sat reminiscing the sweet moments of their friendship…

“Hi am…Radhika”,Sangee turned her head to see a beautiful girl flashing a radiant smile …
“Hey…Am sangeetha”,she shook hers with a lively smile…this is how their friendship began..Little did they both know that.,they will turn more like besties…within next 6 months,being in same team or anything could be the reason as others say, but they became the best buddies…
“Do you really think Java is easy than Networking…”,Radz walked with coffee mug towards her…
“We should go for Big data,Radz…I thought of trying jobs outside…No hike and that TL…argh..”,Sangee gritted her teeth…
“Lets ditch the company baby”,Rads winked at her…
“Hmm…heard that today we will be assigned new project..and wonder who will be our TL”..Sangee twitched her lips..
” I wish we should be in same project”,Rads said more like a prayer..
After an hour…the girls smiled, when informed about project…once they got inside lift,they both squealed being in same team again…

“Who?”,Sangee asked sipping the coffee…
“Your new project’s TL”,Kritika again shrieked…
“What’s the use of being hot and handsome..will he do all works single handed…No isn’t..Kriti…we decided to put papers…”,Rads spoke and Sangee nodded with a smile….
“Rasan…You both here.!!..New TL..”,Teji was cut in when Radz said..”Yea… yea..we know..Sangee.I thought we will be on bench for some time..you know..we could have enjoyed..no projects..!!”.Radz said with dreamy eyes while Kritika and Teji saw her like a alien…
“Yea…we are already exhausted with the recent one”,Sangee mumbled throwing her fists in air..

Sangee stood froze looking the guy before her… “Arjun…”,she murmured… Her college friend..Ah..No..!!…from high school…They did engineering together..and Arjun indeed drained all her energy and brain cells before they completed their course..Later,he moved for job and she continued Masters….
She saw him gaping at her…No..behind her…Who?!! Radzzz..!!! she got alerted.. why the hell he behaves like a fool..now how to introduce him as her best friend..She frowned a little but was shocked to see Radhika to have her eyes locked with him….Sangee moved her head left and right and saw both being in eye lock….Arjun walked to them,looking Radz,while Sangee fumed being ignored…
“Arjun..”,he extended his hand to Radz and she shook with hers… Right then.,her mobile rang with ‘Pehla Nasha whistle’ and Arjun’s fame beamed with happiness..so as Rads..Sangee cursed the caller under her breath, and it was none other than.,her another friend Jessie…”One more..!”,she rejected the call with a sigh…
“Geethu…You work here..?? from when??”,Arjun asked after a long time..
“From my last birth”,Sangee smiled wide…
“You are still the same..and am so happy..Geethu..I love you !!”,he hugged her forgetting the atmosphere…
“Aruuuuu”,she whispered high…
“Geethuuuu…”,he mimicked her…She saw Radz face to shrink like a kerchief bought in discount sales..
“Radz..he was my college mate..quite jovial with us..I mean..our gang…”,Sangee said hurriedly….Her phone buzzed again with Jessie’s number…
“Who is that?”,Arjun tried to look the mobile screen..His face got a naughty smirk looking the caller…He had the call in speaker and spoke with her,the moment he said his name,all they could hear was, Jessie to say,”The Subscriber you are trying to speak is currently not reachable”.. Arjun gritted his teeth.,but Radhika giggled at that…

Jessie walks behind him and gestures him to be mad when he walks in college corridor..the girls looks him shocked…as she tied a paper coil to his back and it keeps rolling behind him…

Arjun pours a glass of juice on Jessie’s head..and when she turns to him shocked..,he pours another one smiling wide..

“Radz…once.,me and Jess passed papers to him in semester exams..The invigilator was too strict and the whole college knew our talents..!! I was far away seated,but Jess being near to him.,passed her sheet..everyone turned a blind eye on that and it did happen well.,until Arjun opened his mouth…”
Rads came close to Sangee and asked..”what did he say?”…
Sangee heaved a sigh..”She and Arjun were the last to give submit their papers..and when she did it,he screamed at her..,”Jess..One of your sheet is with me…here”,and extended the sheet…She was actually seated five seats behind him…the invigilator glared her angrily….We were literally shocked and he realized what he did…
“Then”…Kritka,Teji and Radz asked in chorus.. Sangee said it…

“C’mon Jess…If not May…we have December”,Arjun gave her a side hug…all looked him shocked… “Dont worry about Arrears..when you clear 5 subjects, its cool to have 2 arrears..”,he shook his shoulders and ran throughout the corridor as he was chased…
“I love you J..”,he was cut in when she pointed her pen’s nib to his eyes…”Don’t say that..Enough!..now come to meet VP and fool him with a story..else…”
“Done.!!”,Arjun said.

Sangee glared her,”As usual he turned them mad with his story but finally what he did was the highlight..he took a swear on our VP that Jess din’t pass the papers..”
“Smart!”,Radz said aloud..
“Huh?” the trio saw her..
“Well..he somehow solved isn’t…Mistakes do happen..!!”,Radhika bit her lips and moved from that place..
Rads walked fast wondering on her new found interest on a guy..which is really anew…She collided on someone.,and she felt a thick band of something to coil around her waist… “Careful”,a gentle male voice said and she saw him.,her TL.,Arjun…to hold her…He looked extremely handsome in that shades…(that dp one)She got out from the trance when smiled at her…
“You were in a hurry?”,he asked…
“Who wears shades inside office..Enough of your show off”,Sangee said as she walked to them..
“I went for lunch…with one of my cousin…”,he replied to her…
Radz silently observed his cool behavior with Sangee,though she mocked him every now and then…
“Ah..Radz..He is has no attitude yaar..I tell you..we are really lucky to have a friend like him but the only thing which annoys is his crazy antics..at times he drive us to the edge…”,Sangee smiled

A week passed…
Radhika and Arjun would just share eyelocks….and formal smiles and greetings..
“hey..you both said,you wanna leave the job isn’t”,Kritika asked having lunch…
“Really..!! when???”,Rasan said in unison and did a hi-fi..
After a second,Sangee grew suspicious at Rad’s sudden enthusiasm…”Kuch toh ghadbad hai”,(something fishy)she gestured her hands like CID daya and Teji nodded his head…
The next one month,the duo noticed Ardhika’s growing fondness over each other.. Arjun to politely explain things to her.,and to have career oriented discussions,while Radz would just smile a neutral one…
“Still stupid…Of all things in this world,did he get only this topic”,Sangee facepalmed herself..
“I think he is trying to make Radz fall for him”,Teji said rubbing his chin…
“what a discovery..!! you discovered The sun!! wow!!”,Sangee clapped..Teji glared realizing her mock….

“Why are you troubling my friend..she is already engaged…”,Sangee saw his face intently.. He was seriously shocked..
“Oh..thats why she was uncomfortable when I spoke”Arjun masked his disappointment.
“You love her?”,she asked..
“Whats the use..she is already booked!! Am not even in waiting list…may be unreserved”,he shook his head sipping his coffee…
“Huh….have you booked any train tickets..?”,Sangee asked him..
“Yea..waiting list…Last minute…”,Arjun was cut in…
Sangee pointed a fork on his throat..,”Stop the nonsense…Say this..you love her or not?”,
Arjun saw her wide eyed..”You can’t turn violent like Jess..”,he replied…
“Anyone would..and you are idiot to speak about jobs instead of proposing her…what you thought…she will think you to be a encyclopedia and drool on you for being a genius…”,Sangee raised her brows..
Arjun’s eyes blinked after a second…”God..means..she isn’t engaged..thats a lie…Yay!!! Geethu…I love you”,he hugged her jumping from his seat opposite to hers..
“Aru..Its high time..you should stop yelling this..Anyone may get it wrong”,Sangee said smiling to him…
“I will ..and how to propose her..Idea pls”,he asked her..
“Well..just like you yell at me…do the same for her”…
“Cha..that would be stupid….Its Radhika!!….So… I should make it special…”,Arjun turned dreamy…and walked fast when Sangee charged him for his words…

Radz sat smiling listening her.,”Yes…He is so lively..naughty..cute…lov..”,she stopped looking everyone around her.. Sangee raised her brows….
“So..Is he perfect for our Radz..?”,Teji asked suddenly..
“Perfect? for what?”,Radz faked innocence..
“Its 3 months..when will you propose?”,Kritika asked to her face and Radz opened and closed her mouth like a fish…

“Geethu…she is avoiding me…I din’t do anything wrong..Trust me…!!”,Arjun said with puppy dog eyes…Of course he is true..she did see him to follow her everywhere..
She herself was surprised to see him to fall this deep in love…but what happened…
“Is looking good a sin…!!what would I do if that Lekha proposes me..!! “Arjun pouted..
“Only Lekha?”,sangee asked…
Arjun looked her helpless..
“This is why I asked you to behave arrogant..See…they take you for granted…they pass weird comments on your back…whats the need to be over friendly”,Sangee glared him… “Any girl at Radhika’s place would be angry,listening such..you should propose her or accept openly that you are committed to her..”,she said sharp..
“I tried to my best..she is testing my patience..Just one chance..! Pls..Geethu”,he said to her..
“As thought you would propose in that one chance…”,Sangee mocked him..
Arjun starred her and said,”Can you send her to my cabin…I will propose then?..”
Sangee readily accepted….within few mins,after good ordeal moments,she sent Rads to his cabin and dusted her hands..
“Wow..you did it…super idea..I did doubt on the chances to happen”,she was startled to listen Arjun’s voice behind her..
“What are you doing here..I did sent for you…Aru..Utilize the opportunity..now go”,Sangee literally pushed him..
He saw Radhika near the lift area instead of stepping to his cabin…He locked her to the wall when she busy fiddled her mobile…
“Move”,Radz pushed him…
“Why are you avoiding me…”he asked to her softly..
Radz eyes looked around as she grew conscious on them to be noticed…Arjun pulled her to a corner of that place…And pinned her to wall… “Tell me..”,he asked her huskily..
“I dont want to speak with you..”,she saw the ground..
“I dint do anythi..”he was cut in..
“Who asked you not to..and why are you saying this to me…”,Radz hissed…
“Because I love you..”Arjun said…
After a second she said… “You say this to Sangee also..to Teji..to zubin….and now me too…”,she said
“Thats different…Radhika..you too know isnt…and you too love me”,he said to her..
“No..I don’t…and how to believe you..you behave the same way with everyone”,she tried to move while tears covered her vision…
He tried his best to convince her,and finally he held her close,her breath convulsed at their proximity,she was unable to speak anything when he captured her lips suddenly…
she threw her fists on his chest,while he held it to his back guiding her to hold his waist,and his hands pushed her close to him..after few seconds, when she responded,he bit her lip before pulling away…She blushed crimson red at that…”This is my first kiss…I think I did better..”,he said in her ears.. she was still breathing heavy being in the same trance and clutched him tight…she saw his eyes and his eyes were still on her darkest shade of pink lips…her cheeks bloomed with the new found pleasure and she gulped a little,and he saw her tongue to wet her lips…,that;s it..he kissed her again and this time so deep,and she moaned unable to control…her hands held his shirt tightly…

Sangee was in a call,finding the corridor to be empty,she loitered speaking in mobile moving towards the glass windows…her eyes widened when she turned to her right and saw Arjun to pull back his head from Radhika’s face… Arjun turned shockingly when he heard a audible gasp..
Arjun sighed a relief finding it to be Sangee and smiled sheepishly…while Radhika adjusted her hair and dress…
“What were you doing?”..Sangee asked unaware of what she spelt…
“Geethu..you did ask me to utilize the opportunity..and I did it..”,he said and walked away..
“What…what I said and what you did?”,She still asked..But was baffled to see Radhika glaring her..”No..Radz..he is lying..I din’t say this…He said he will propose thats y I sent you..”
Sangee stepped back a little looking Radhika….”This fellow spoilt my image…I thought of helping for my best friends love..,But see….”,She stopped abruptly when Rads squealed in happiness and hugged her…
“What did you say…he thought to propose.me……Am so happy…”,saying so Rads kissed Sangee’s cheeks,while Sangee wiped it immediately…
“Chi…chi…”Sangee pushed Rads,but she held her tight in return…”Go… at least you propose.him….”,she said
“Naaaa…now you see..what I do with him..”Radz shook her head with some decision and thinned her lips…

A week later,Ardhika came to Sangee chatting with each other happily…..
“Geethu…I love you”,Arjun hugged her the moment he saw her….
Radhika’s smiled wide to her ears and hugged her..”He proposed me…candle light dinner…”…she whispered…
Sangee squealed in happiness and hugged her back..
After few days.,Sangee got transferred to another branch as the project they dealt with,needed a person of their team at that branch…Though initially she did miss them,her new friends and pg mates were so cool she loved the new place too…Its been six months,and just only because of technology’s gift they get to chat and msg and in past one month that too got a standstill owing to work pressure….
She sighed as she got out of her reverie….The cab came to a halt and she saw the huge bungalow to be decorated…She dialed Arjun…
“Where are you?,”she asked but jerked when a burqa clad lady hugged and whispered “I love you Geethu..”.
Her eyes widened looking the leather shoes peeping from the burqa….”what the hell..remove it..”,she said irritated…
“I won’t…they won’t let me in..so I disguised..”he said clasping the feminine attire…
“Wha..”,her words struck with her throat when the board over there pinned with flowers read. …Radhika weds Saral…she looked Arjun with shock….
“Her dad rejected our love….and then…”he sighed…”…it’s a big story”,he said..
“Now say what you want to do..?”,she asked,but her mind alerted about his ability to pull new troubles.
“Correction!! What I want you to do..?,he smiled as she slid the veil covering his face a little…
“I guessed..”,Sangee said and made a face…
“Lets go inside”,he pulled her.
“Why me..you go…”she said….
“They will find me…so…”.,he dragged
“So you need a scapegoat..”she hissed….
She knew Radz belong to rich family and her dad, let her to work,only for her wish…but what is he actually….??
As though he read her mind,Arjun said,”well…he is a local politician…popular also I guess”..
Sangee blinked…;Where have I got caught on my birthday’….She knew Rads loved Arjun wholeheartedly and Arjun too..She knew him…! A moment later she stepped in but halted and asked Arjun not to come with her…
“Do you think they wont find you…you and your tower height!!”she said..
“Say am your friend”,Arjun said..
“How…like…hi…am sangee…sangeetha..and you???”she asked…
“Mangee..man..gee..tha..”Arjun dragged looking her to glare…
“Sangee…Mangee….!!Are you for real…!!”she asked looking his childish pout…
“I want her….I love her…why does status have to be a prob…”,he said sadly…
“Aru…what to do after we get inside”,Sangee asked….
“Lets see that later…Ok…Leave…You go…I will find a way..”,he walked back.
She felt bad looking his disappointed face…How could she let him down…’now what way will he find’,she thought
“Aru…don’t step back…am with you”,Sangee said with chin high in air…
Arjun looker her confused,”why would I..???Geethu….I said you go INSIDE…!! I Will find a way ONLY TO GET INSIDE!!”,he twisted his lips as though he is in deep thought…
She looked him with mouth wide opened…what she thought..!! Somewhere back in her mind,a voice played back…”Geet..dont fall for his puppy dog face…”
Sangee was relieved when she saw Radz’s mom in lawn area..She got in with that chance,as Dilip Mishra.. Radz dad made it clear not to let anyone without invites…The right side of the house had a huge lawn area.,and that’s where the marriage dais sets had been made,but it was two… “Aunty.,Radz informed me the last minute,btw who is the other one getting married?”,sangee asked..
“Its my son..Ankhush..with Rashi..,Sister of Saral…”,Mala said dryly…
As she took the steps,she halted looking Arjun already inside the house,that too under a table looking here and there,peeping out behind the table cloth…How he came in this soon?..Arjun saw her and gave a thumbs up..
‘huh..what for?…’..
“Aunty where is Radz room…is there anyone to help or I should do the honors for my friend”,Sangee asked sweetly and Arjun crooked his neck to listen…Sangee waited for mala to move after listening the details…So as Arjun.. “Am going..you come”,she turned but stood shocked when she heard all the utensils over the table to crash down…She saw Arjun to rub his head…
“I just got up”..he said
“Do something”,Sangee said looking a guy to approach that place..
“Meow..Meow…!!”,Arjun mimicked like a cat and ran somewhere while she stood shocked…
“Cat..!”,she said looking the goon like guy..he looked the vessels scattered..
