“So…what’s next?”,Arjun asked as he arranged pillows of their bed…..
“Nothing…”,she said sullen.,worrying for her friend Sathya….
–Any problem?—,she texted and got a angry red emoji in return…her mobile beeped with folded hands emojis from Krishna….
She laid the other side of bed but jerked feeling a warm touch on her shoulder…. “Radhika…”,she blinked and saw herself,lying in saree in bed…”You din’t change”,he chuckled…
“What?”,she asked…
“Call me once like that?”,he asked…
“How..”
He laughed wide.,and shook his head….”You wear saree at your home..?”,he asked..and she nodded negative…. “Then why here…I did say..Suit yourself..”,he patted her cheek…”Go..”,he said little loud smiling…
Radhika came back wearing Pyjama suit.,and quickly hopped on the other side of the bed when he was busy in a call….
“You din’t say the real reason behind the drama there?”,he asked after a while….. “and..the fire accident was because of some short circuit…..some defects in power system which was informed earlier….left unnoticed…fault was on management side..”,he said clear.,sitting relaxed over the bed….
She turned to his side.,leaning closer he said…”I never discuss business at home..but now am sharing with you..”…She looked him blank wondering what and how to respond….that was the reason he yelled at staffs.,the ones who came to attend their wedding…but…this also meant..he heard her speaking with Sathya….
“Am..”,he kissed her cheek before she could speak something…Lying on his back,he turned to see her.,and she starred him with her mouth little opened…he pushed her jaw close and smiled….
She bit her lips,and closed her eyes smiling…In these 27 days..today the first time.,they interacted for sometime.,and he behaved this sweet with her…
“Will you sleep or keep on smiling like this”,he asked and she pulled sheets covering her face….

Krishna’s walk out drama and Arjun Mom’s words gave a ‘nothing-there-to-regret’ feel in Satz home…They were indeed happy that they got to know the in-laws characters…
“The guy was sensible…he apologized on behalf….”
“Which guy?”,Sathya cut in her dad’s words in middle..
“Arjun!”,her dad said…
“Which Arjun?”,she asked again and grabbed her vehicle’s keys…and moved to her portico…She rubbed her eyes looking the figure standing before…”You….”
“Bhabhi…said to….”,AK dragged…
“To fell on my feet?”,she smirked as she reversed her two wheeler..
“How you know?”,AK asked and Satz gritted her teeth…,later she smiled thinking that Radz too said the same…

“Oh god!!”,Radhika turned with the same speed she rushed down,only to hit with Arjun’s chest…
“What happened…”,he asked holding her wrist….
“Bhabhi….”,AK called from downstairs and Arjun saw Radz to glare him….
“Krishna…she is younger to you…why do you….”..
“But she is his brother’s wife..as per…”,
“Yea…I understand”,Arjun cut his mom’s words in middle…
“Bhabhi…you said..you want to visit Mall here…”,AK said..
“Me?..No..No..”,Radz nodded negative looking Arjun and her MiL Nandhini…
Arjun chuckled amused…”If you want..you can…”
“No..If I want…I will go with you…Not with him”,Radz tried to move but Arjun held her by elbow…
“I won’t mind all that nonsense…they say.,So….Just have a look around the city with Krishna…”,Arjun saw his mom….what’s wrong if a newly wedded girl behaves jovial with her BiL….Radhika in dark purple saree came down with her clutch…She glared AK before moving out….
“Is this a mall?”,she asked….
AK smiled sheepishly….Sathya came after few mins….”Whats up Radz….why are you roaming with this joker?”,she asked irritated…Radz rolled her eyes…
“Satz…Pls…”
“Sathya…”,he called her…and she raised her brows as a inquiry… “I…..I…”
“I am sorry?”,Sathya asked…
“No…Listen..I should have…waited back…”,Ak rubbed his forehead…
“No issues…Mr..Arjun Krishna!…Go…spend time with your love instead of apologizing to me.”,Satz pulled Radz to her…
“Its you…you.,whom I love…I love you Sathya..!”,he said the next moment…Radz nodded her head affirmative when Sathya saw her surprised…
“Is it a prank?”,Sathya asked…Radz immediately retorted….Arjun Krishna sat relaxed and the girls glared him….
“Satz..I told all nonsense because of him…”,Radhika explained her talk with her Arjun….”..’cause of this idiot I lied that you love someone..but Arjun found out that’s a lie’,Radhika thinned her lips….
“So what?”,Satz asked back… “You love me…Thanks…for loving me…But I don’t..”,Satz snapped….Radz animated a flying kiss…
“You are welcome..But Sathya…you love me..!!”,Ak smiled with confidence… Radhika looked her suspicious and Sathya nodded negative…
“He is a semi- mental case…Radhika.! don’t roam with him….and..you!..don’t even know whom you came to look for…and…you didn’t raise a voice for your love…”,Satz glared him…
“Listen…I was told at last minute…and I was roaming here.,trying to find you..that’s when someone gave a info that am behind a girl…so..Mom thought..to…”,Ak shook his shoulders…
“Krishna…they din’t know its her??…Ah..you missed the golden chance…idiot..idiot”,Radz sat next to him…”When you saw her first time”,Radhika asked curiously…
“That….I saw her in Airport…We both went to Chennai in same flight…I saw…”,AK paused when Radz got up and the girls exchanged glances…
“Hey…..Mr…”
“Ak..”,he said..
“Ok..! We too have watched Ghajini movie…”,Satz said…
Ak took his mobile and swiped her pics he had…Satz looked wide eyed…”3 months back”,she asked…and he nodded…
“How to convince aunty?”,Radz pouted…
“You shoul…”,his words were cut off when Radz shrieked…”No…Not even in your dreams…”
“Bhabhi…won’t you do this for your friend….Look Sathya’s face….her childish smile…”,Ak said…
“Oye..are you kidding..”,Sathya asked high..
“God.!!..She is so down to earth…She doesn’t even like praising..!! Aren’t we lucky Bhabhi..”,Ak asked and Radhika stood with her left on her hip….”Sathya!…imagine this…you and Bhabhi in same house.,descending stairs.,and serving us breakfast…enjoying as a family…No ego clash..nothing…Our family is lucky…”,Ak said trying to pull the girls into a dreamy world…
But…Sathya crashed on Radhika laughing hard hearing him..and Radhika balanced on table holding her stomach laughing…
“Say it again..that was funny…we both in a house…Epic…”,Satz laughed…

“Bhabhi..I was serious”,Ak said irritated as he drove…
Radhika looked him…He would be best for her bestie…Jovial..honest..clever..and what not..he had all good qualities…above all patience..which her husband doesn’t have…
“You should convince their family and ours…”,Radz said..and he applied brakes…
“Bhabhi..then you are on my side.,”AK asked…
“Of course…yes…”,she smiled….

“Why did you call me here?”,Satz asked sipping her coffee in food court of a mall…
“Satz…Listen me…Krishna..is a good guy…Don’t stare me,listen me…”,Radz shook her head annoyed…
Arjun who came from a Jewellery shop of that Mall.,noticed Radhika and walked to them….He smiled when Satz greeted with a nod…Sathya noticed Radhika to gesture something.,looking left side….She smirked mischievous…
“Radhikaaa…”,Sathya dragged….”What were you saying about Krishna…I mean..Arjun krishna..that AK?”.Satz asked…
Radhika praised AK to sun and moon…!!
“Enough…I think you praised him too much…He isn’t as good looking as your husband?”,Satz saw Arjun to come near them.,and chuckled…
Unaware of Arjun behind her.,”My husband??”,Radhika huffed…”He is one Khadoos….Guess he never smiles.,wonder even for brushing his teeth,will he open his mouth or not…But AK!..he is a sweet fellow…always smiling…”
“Always smiling.???….Then he has some problem,here..”,Satz pointed her head..
“Chup! Such a sweetheart he is…He never rushes things…He listens with utmost patience…Respects everyone…”
“Yeah..I saw that”,Satz mocked her..
“Lemme finish”,Radz pouted angrily…
“Will you finish?”,Sathya riled up her…
“Yes…A day isn’t enough…he is that good…Charming…Smart…”
“Like your husband..”,Satz interfered…..
“Why do you drag him here?..He isnt that good…..Always super annoyed..!…I fear to spell a word….but Ak!!,..You mocked him.,still he behaved cool…that’s him….He is the best choice for you…and..Don’t compare him with my husband…AK is here …and Arjun is here…Can you see the difference”,Radz asked.,with her hands wide opened,mentioning the huge distance between both the hands….
“Yes..I can see…Your husband is here”,Sathya said…
“haan..here”,Radz pointed her right hand…but grew conscious with Sathya’s devilish smirk…She turned to her left,and AK wasn’t there.,she slowly turned back and there…Arjun stood with his brows raised.,and nodded like ‘I-understood’…Sathya chuckled leaning back in her chair…and Arjun saw both the girls…
Radhika narrowed her eyes at Satz…

Radhika tip toed inside her bedroom….She dint dare to open her mouth.,from the moment she followed him from Mall…Her mobile beeped with Sathya’s kissie emoticons wishing for night….Arjun turned with that sound…
-Satz…devil…why kissie emoji for good night- she texted back…
-Enjoy- came a reply with more such emojis..
“What were you doing in that mall..with your friend ?”,Arjun asked…
“Ah..um…jus…”
“Back biting about your husband”,(he asked.)..”…to praise that idiot AK..”,(he looked her sharp)….”Why are you behind that alliance…she said…she isn’t interested…Leave her…do you understand!!”.he said…and Radz nodded her head…
“So..You had noticed me for quite some time…”,he asked… “Radhika….Just because of my staffs’ carelessness.,the fire accident happened..thats y I yelled…but seems..you got that as my character itself…Did I…
“But you slapped…”,Radhika said the next moment…
“He too was from there…He did a mistake..I just slapped…The loss was in lakhs…but He is still in service…”,Arjun walked towards her….”Anyone else would have dismissed him…I din’t”….
Radhika couldn’t hold more…She said everything about AK and Sathya…”Ah…”,she bend a little,covering her cheeks with her palms.,when Arjun extended a hand….She thought he will slap her…but No…he looked her confused….
“Scold me..but don’t slap me…Even dad hasn’t slapped me”,she took a step backward….
“Who could slap and why would I slap my cute wife..”,he pulled her to his embrace…”AK is a naughty..playful one…Don’t force your friend against her will….And yes.!…Ak is here…and Your husband is here…”,he kept his right hand little higher than his left… “Your husband is here…that’s y..today he is with his love…and AK is here…that’s y..today his love is back at her home”..he smiled a little…Radhika stood grasping his words….
“Your husband is khadoos that’s y things happen his way…and Ak…you know I guess…”,he said…little arrogant and proud…..
Why someone should be proud of being a khadoos…may be they think that’s manly…but he is also correct…Just because of his nature.,today her MiL was quiet before him….She looked herself close to him.,and saw him to smirk boyish one…..She was close to him…but wasn’t in a uncomfortable zone…His hands protective around her…”Good night”,he kissed both her cheeks surprising her…

“Who is that…your friend?”,Arjun asked…
“No…Ak…He asked…”
“Switch off the mobile…he will eat your head…”,Arjun murmured…’Okay’..she said and did the same.,but felt her middle to be covered with waist band…No..Its his arm..She laid still…but closed her eyes….Sleep seemed to be far away….First time.,her husband holding her middle..claiming her whole middle in his single arm….”Good night”,he wished for second time…

“You are one real Hitler?”,he said when that German Shepherd walked back from the main gate….He threw few pieces of Pedigree and Hitler came walking royal near the gate…It looked him and pedigree pieces,and turned its face,the other side…He felt stupid on himself,but was flabbergasted listening someone to laugh…None other than his queen Sathya..!!..She saw him to be dressed up that early in three piece suit…finely combed hair…
“Morning!!”,he crooked his neck a little standing at the other end of the road….Unknowingly she blushed listening seductive manly voice…’was he the same AK who spoke like a teenager yesterday’…she thought….
“What are you trying to do”,she asked…
“Thought to corner you…getting everyone on my side…and starting from Hitler”..,he pointed the little bodyguard wagging its tail standing near her….
“and result..?”,she asked…
“Failure is the stepping stone for success”,he replied…
“Not bad..”,she smiled and he got inside his car..
“Too good”,he smiled wide listening Radhika’s voice in his blue tooth…
“Thank you Bhabhi”,he reversed his car….
“What are you doing?”,Arjun who came back from his morning jog asked to her…
Radhika blew her hot tea..and he went giving a impossible look..

“What is love?”.Radz asked to Sathya…and Satz held her head…
“Satz…Love marriage is best…Arrange is not good…Am still…lot of hesitations ya…fear..doubts…feels like we should hold back ourselves from speaking what we feel…do..wish to….”,Radz played with her bangle on that table…
“Ak…!He is not of my type..”,Satz tried to move…
“He is…When Arjun…”,she paused and turned back alerted…
Sathya laughed at that… “Your husband isn’t here”
“Hmm….Its only Ak.,who used call from Arjun’s mobile and let us to interact….you know…he knew well about…”
“Radhika pls..”,Sathya moved….
When Radhika came back home.,she witnessed Ak and Arjun to argue with their mothers’ for some reason….”Dare to call someone so…how would she be responsible?…will you say the same to your daughter…”AK yelled…and she stood rooted listening that….
“You are turning annoying…what if someone says I love a girl…will you take me like a lamb…saying we are off to meet someone of our relative…. and Mom…What was that.,you spoke to her?…Lemme make it clear…The one whom you chose for me…unknowingly…Is the girl whom I love…! Sathya!!.. I Don’t care, how she sounded to you…but she is my wife…Get that clear mom!! Don’t look for anyone else…and don’t trouble
her too…Its purely my choice….Sathya has nothing to do with my opinion…I shouldn’t hear you ppl speaking with her family…”,Ak said aloud like a order… Turning around.,he saw Radhika on door way.,he smiled a moment later…
“What did your friend say?”,he asked …
And that’s when Radhika realized Sathya was on her call…She glanced the elders including Arjun to look her…
“So..she was your friend…That sharp tongued girl…I see!…you din’t speak a word when she insulted our alliance”,Arjun’s mom Nandhini asked her…
–Stay silent…don’t speak– Radhika’s mobile beeped with Sathya’s msg…
