” Hey, arjun..arjun….cool down…..nothing’s going to happen to you….u r going to be perfectly fine….deep breaths…yesss…that’s it…..now come on ,calm down….its a big day of your life..u shouldn’t be messing it up with ur nervousness….its sammy’s birthday today…and radhika is surely going to come here anytime…and yes sammy has promised to help you…so dont worry….calm down….u r going to rock it…. ” arjun said these encouraging words to himself to cope with the nervousnesss building in him..coz he is going to propose radhika , his best friend and yes, also his lady love..the one to whom he lost his heart……he was taking deep breaths to calm his racing heart and was touching his pant pockets every now and then to make sure he hasn’t forget the ring in nervousness……when a soft hands touched his shoulders…he greeted :” hey..birthday girl…”…sammy stood their smiling at his nervous state…she chuckled a cute one and said :”oh, come on arjun u rn’t any teenage boy in love..u know her for years..plus u know how much she loves you…then y tension…calm down buddy….her answer is going to be surely a yes… ” she said with her sparkling eyes that were competing her beauty that day…arjun breathed a relief at her words and mumbled a sweet : “thank u sammy”..sammy smiled and nodded her head….then with her eyes on someone she hissed in his ears : ” there she is , arjun….”…and went away chuckling at him standing frozen forgetting the whole world around, at the sight of radhika……there she was entering the venue…in a dark pink gown…and her silky locks flowing in air….there she was , the one who took away his heart with that same smile of hers…..he thought he would in any minute faint in lack of oxygen due to not breathing seeing her approaching him with that mesmerizing smile of hers…: ” arjun u r here…..but see i am late..all bcoz of that idiot…he at last time said that he has to go to sam…..” she said wishing him with a tight hug…swiping off his very balance…he thought :”i think that idiot has preponed my plan….and now omg ….. y does she have to hug me like that…now for sure i am going to stand like a ice statue, here for my friends to pull my legs..great!!!!”…but radhika pulled him out off his trance by waving her hands in front of him…..she asked :”hey arjun…did u wish my girl? “….having gained enough control in those seconds, he replied : “offcourse i did….u know i even gifted her a wrist watch and she loved it…. “he said with pride and pulled his collar….while radhika poked her tongue out and said : “haha…wait till she sees my gift..and its going to be best…coz she will love it ” she said irritated..arjun chuckled at her and asked : ” really ? what did u buy exactly ?”……she said with sparkling eyes and childish tone : ” i bought her handmade designer necklace to match her bday dress….”she squealed now and went running to sammy who was in midst of a big crowd being wished….and radhika quickly made her way to her…..gave her a bone crushing hug and said: ” happy birthday my doll…”and both started their chitchat until it was time to cut the cakes…all of her sweet friends encircled her (hey see i too am there!!!???) and sung her a birthday song and wished her all the success and happiness in the world….then after sometime of gala arjun slightly cleared his throat to signal sammy for her permision on taking her friend radhika away who was now screaming on the phone on neil who declined to pick her up telling that he is going for a movie with his sam….as per arjun’s request…sammy smiled and moved towards radhika suggesting her to take arjun as her driver tonight..radhika sensing that as a good idea left to arjun’s car pulling him with her after kissing sammy’s cheeks and bidding her goodbye……arjun before getting into his car folded his arms and whispered a sweet thank u to sammy who in turn smiled and showed thumbs up wishing him luck….
The journey was all so lovely and their non stop chatting at last ended in radhika singing along all the romantic songs played on the radio……arjun utilised all this time bracing himself for his next act and when he felt ready after reaching the destination he sensed the car quite and turned his head to check on radhika , he found her in deep slumber…..he smiled looking at her angelic face smiling beautifully at her peaceful slumber and he vowed to himself to make it permanent in her…. and carefully took her in arms and walked towards the lake side….he hasn’t decorated it coz he knows how much she loves non adulterated nature….and the lake was shining in full moon all pure just like his radhika who was shining with no artificial things to dull her enchanted beauty….he having reached the lake side , gently patted her cheeks and made her stand seeing that now she is out of her sleep….sensing the cool breeze and arjun’s warm presence around her, radhika opened her eyes only to be mesmerized by the beauty of her all time favourite lake side sparkling in its own beauty where she had, had many beautiful merories of herself and arjun…..she streched her hands to inhale the heavenly scent of the nature….and asked arjun who was standing there still bowelled by her beauty : ” y r v here arjun?”…..:” coz it is a beautiful evening radhika….” he said taking few steps back with his hands on his pockets and said : ” just like u…”…..stunned by his answer she turned to face him only to find him smiling at her with all love filled eyes…he continued: ” i don’t know what to say….or how to say…..but radhika i am nothing without u……and would be lifeless without u…..I LOVE YOU RADHIKA….”he said the last sentence kneeling and pulling out the ring :” will you be my better half radhika?….will u make me the luckiest man in this world by becomig mrs.arjun mehra? “…….radhika was standing there still with tears flowing down her cheeks and her hands closing her mouth…she then gulped hard…made arjun stand and hugged him tightly burying herself deep in his chest …..she cried and spoke:” I LOVE YOU ARJUN…ONE AND ONLY U….and for the question u asked….YESSSSS!!! YES!…..i would die without u….”…..arjun had tears of happiness having finally made her his….he smiled and wiped her tears and made her wear the ring all the while she was only mumbling yes,yes,yes and nodding her head madly in love….he then kissed her deep to his heart’s content and then screamed :” I LOVE YOU RADHIKA MISHRA”….for the mountains to echo his happiness………………..
:” arjun…..arjun…….wake up!!!”………he heard a musical voice and soft hands shaking his shoulders….he opened his eyes….and saw his radhika sitting in the bed giggling at him
:” again the same dream mr.hubby?” ruffling his hairs….arjun smiled sheepishly banging his head…..and then locked her to him and said : ” what to do biwiji? my love for u is so deep that i always dream of that most precious day of mine ….”….she mumbled:” yes yes my fateful day…”….he asked :”what your fateful day? hmm go i am not going to talk to you for that…”…..he said jerking her off and turning to the other side of the bed with a pout face …..radhika smiled seeing her lovely husband acting all childish to be pampered by her and wondered what boon she got in her previous birth to have got him in her life as her husband…..then she slowly wrapped her hands around him hugging him from behind and said:” yes arjun it was my fateful day…in which i got u as my gift ” and pecked his cheeks…..arjun smiled and turned over but before he could do anything she said: “now arjun….stop all this, close ur eyes and sleep like a good boy…. remember what we have planned for tomorrow ?”…..he said :” yes…..tomorrow is sammy’s birthday and also our first weddding anniversary….and we r going to give our sammy surprise in our wedding party…..coz…..on that day only i got my love…and in a year married my love too…. “said arjun all the while smiling like a six months baby in its cradle…..and when radhika was about to open her mouth he shushed her and made her rest in his chest forming their usual sleeping position and wrapped his arms around her….she too responded by wrapping her arms around him with all the right she possesed on him….and they both slept in each others arms peacefully with a beautiful smile playing in their lips that marked yet another lovely day in their, this journey of life that they travelled with their fingers locked with each other’s together till eternity……..
