Manish Khanna roped in to essay a pivotal role in Maitree
Manish Khanna has been roped in to essay a pivotal role in TV show Maitree, where he will be essaying the role of an astrologer. The actor talked about it in a recent interview and shared that he is looking forward to playing this role.
He said, “My character Madan along with his wife Kamna has shifted from Banaras to Prayagraj and he is a Jyotish. He is a strict father and there is thin ice between him and his son Harsh (played by Samarath Jurel), so the story revolves around that. Now, people have to wait and see if the character Maitree will be able to break that ice between the father and the son.”
He added, “I have never played such a part so far even after doing many TV shows over the years. As an actor, I always look for something that’s new, interesting, and unexplored. So that’s what prompted me to take up this show.”
When asked if he too believes in astrology, Manish replied, “I am not much of a believer in astrology. I don’t understand the number game and all the science around it. But hopefully, I will be playing this part with all the information that I now have.”
Manish is known for his role in shows like Udaariyaan, Naagin, and Molkki among others.
