Manish Chawla steps in as Shabir Ahluwalia’s friend in Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan

In a recent development, Sunny Sachdeva, who was initially cast to portray the character of Shekhar, Mohan’s (played by Shabir Ahluwalia) childhood friend and a lawyer by profession in Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, has been replaced. Taking his place is Manish Chawla, previously seen in Woh Toh Hai Albelaa.

Manish, known for his role in Ek Bhram… Sarvagun Sampanna, expressed his enthusiasm in a recent interview and stated, “I am unaware of the reason behind Sunny’s replacement. I commenced shooting for the series a few days ago. My focus is on portraying Shekhar with utmost conviction and leaving a lasting impression on the audience. Stepping into someone else’s shoes to play a character can be challenging, as the viewers have already become accustomed to a particular actor. Nevertheless, I consider it an opportunity to push my boundaries as an actor. I am grateful to casting director Dhananjay Kumar Pandey for trusting me and casting me in this role.”

In a recent episode, Abdu Rozik, known for his appearance in Bigg Boss 16 and his participation in the upcoming 13th edition of Khatron Ke Khiladi, made a special appearance in Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan. The family drama, which premiered in May last year, marked his debut on Hindi television. The lead couple in the series is portrayed by Shabir Ahluwalia and Neeharika Roy. The talented cast also includes Reeza Chaudhary, Swati Shah, Manisha Purohit, Sumeet Arora, Kajal Khanchandani, Adi Irani, and Parineeta Borthakur.
