Scene 1
Mangal serves the food. She asks Kusum where did you go? Kusum says I had some work. Mangal says I was just worried. It felt odd. I felt like there was a distance between us. Did you meet Soumya? Why? I called you but you were there with Soumya. Kusum says do you trust me? Kusum says we need to fix things sometimes. We can’t always cut off as a solution. I thought she might turn against Adit and ruin his work reputation. Think about it. If she lives alone, she can harm us as well. If we solve her boyfriend’s thinking and get her married she will stop. Mangal says maybe you’re right. She says yes I want to meet her boyfriend to fix things.
Soumya says to Adit I couldn’t say no to your mom. She wants to meet my boyfriend. Why don’t you tell them our truth? ADit says let me think. Dont give stupid suggestions. Adit falls in the street. The kids laugh at him. Adit says what is this? Mangal pulls him out. Mangal falls with him as well. Kusum laughs. Mangal takes Adit out. Akshar says I had a poetry project. Kusum says you both look like you’re made from the same mud. she says Soumya is coming with her boyfriend today.
Soumya comes. She says thank you for giving me a chance. I was in a lot of doubt. Mangal says to say the truth only today. Soumya says yes I want to tell the truth only. Kusum asks where is he? Soumya says he’s gonna come today. He promised me. The kids laugh and Magnal adn Adit’s video. They show it to Soumya. Akshar says it was so funny they both fell but mom got Papa out. Soumya gets angry. Adit goes out. Magnal says it’s 7:30. Your friend isn’t here. Adit says I will you. Here is Soumya’s friend who is here. Meet Daksh. A man comes in. Adit hired him as a paid actor. Soumya is shocked.
Daksh says hello to Soumya. Kusum and Mangal are shocked to see him because he is not educated. Lakshmi and Karthik come as well. They tell about how they were stuck in a theft. Daksh gets scared. He starts making noise. Lakshmi feels like she’s seen him somewhere. He goes out. Mangal tells Lakshmthat that mi Amma thinks Soumya can be handled if her boyfriend marries her. The man tries to run from there. Soumya says to Adit what is this drama now?. He says please don’t tell anyone. Lakshmi sees the man jumping from the balcony. She sees his face and realizes he is the same man who was trying to scam them. He runs away. Lakshmi recognizes who he is.
