Mangal’s haldi ceremony begins. Lipika asks Kapil to accompany her inside, but he refuses, sending her with the haldi and shagun bangles instead. After she leaves, Kapil decides it’s the right moment to see Mangal and quietly enters the house. He watches as everyone applies haldi to her. Akshat spots Kapil’s reflection in the mirror and calls out his name, drawing everyone’s attention. Shanti warmly invites Kapil inside, saying Mangal will be happy to see him.
Kapil notices Mangal lost in thought, but Shanti assumes she’s upset because Kusum hasn’t applied haldi. When Kapil asks if Mangal is all right, Shanti reassures him that brides often feel anxious before marriage. She urges Kusum to apply the shagun haldi since the groom brought it himself. Kusum shows her bandaged hand and requests Shanti to do it instead. Shanti agrees and applies the haldi, then asks Kapil to make Mangal wear the shagun bangles. Though hesitant, he complies, and Lipika captures their pictures. Kusum, unaware of what’s happening, walks away, which Mangal quietly notices.
Later, Shanti tells Mangal she has packed all her belongings and asks her to check once. Kusum brings sarees she had kept aside for Mangal, while Lipika reminds her to pack Akshat’s school uniform too. Adit overhears and questions why the children’s clothes are being packed. Mangal says the kids will live with her, but Adit objects, saying it’s best if they stay behind for now since Akshat has exams and adjusting to a new place will be hard. Shanti sides with Adit, though Mangal insists on taking them. Kusum intervenes, saying the children can stay a few more days and assures Mangal that they’ll take good care of them. Reluctantly, Mangal agrees.
Just then, Chinta Bua calls to remind Mangal that her wedding is that evening. She warns her not to get distracted thinking about the children and insists she visit a parlour she has booked to get ready. Mangal refuses, preferring to get ready at home, but Chinta Bua insists, saying it’s her grandson’s wedding and influential guests will attend, so Mangal must look youthful. Shanti takes the phone and promises to take Mangal to the parlour on time. After ending the call, Chinta Bua smirks, thinking her plan to stop Kapil and Mangal’s wedding will succeed today.
Before leaving, Mangal looks around the house, reminiscing about her cherished memories. She tells Ishana she’s heading to the parlour and will go directly to the mandap, asking Ishana and Akshat to join from home. Ishana excitedly says she can’t wait to see her as a bride. As Mangal departs, Adit accidentally drops his phone. Their eyes meet briefly, and they exchange polite smiles before Mangal leaves with her luggage, instructing the driver to take her to the parlour.
Meanwhile, Chinta Bua calls the makeup artist and tells her to make Mangal look young and glamorous. The artist agrees. Bijli overhears and questions why she’s spending so much on Mangal’s look if she doesn’t want the wedding to happen. Chinta Bua smirks and replies, “Just because she’s getting ready doesn’t mean the wedding will take place.”
