Mangal frantically bangs on a locked door but gets no response and discovers her phone has no signal. Meanwhile, at the colony party, Akshat waits anxiously for her in his dressing room. Pratima arrives at the venue and tells Kusum that her future daughter-in-law is also coming; Kusum responds eagerly, saying she’s looking forward to meeting her. Pratima adds that Akshat is equally excited about the event.
Akshat’s friend asks about his superhero costume, and Sowmya says it’s already there. Akshat replies that his mother will bring it. When Sowmya suggests they begin the skit without her, Akshat refuses, insisting no one can take his mother’s place. Adit encourages him to apologize for hurting Sowmya’s feelings, and Akshat reluctantly says sorry. Sowmya pretends to be hurt, and Adit comforts her, reassuring her that eventually, Akshat will recognize her efforts.
Back in the locked room, Mangal tries to force the door open, becomes breathless, and struggles to reach her inhaler, which has fallen out of reach. Meanwhile, Akshat cries for his mother. Kapil finds him and encourages him not to give up, offering him a “magic” ring for strength. Reassured, Akshat agrees to dress up as Ganapati, the role he was meant to play alongside his mother as Parvati. Kapil helps him get ready and cheers him up with donuts, just as Adit arrives and sees the unexpected bonding between them. Though happy to see Akshat smile, Adit is uneasy with Kapil’s growing involvement.
Mangal finally retrieves her inhaler with a stick and begins to recover. Akshat, now in costume, tells Adit that Kapil helped him get ready. After Akshat leaves, Adit confronts Kapil, accusing him of overstepping. Kapil fires back, questioning Adit’s past absence from Akshat’s life and insisting he’s only acting as a friend. He also begins to suspect something’s wrong, wondering why Mangal, usually punctual, hasn’t arrived.
As Mangal continues to search for a way out, Sowmya tells Adit she plans to step in for Mangal in the skit so Akshat isn’t hurt by her absence. She claims Mangal doesn’t care whether Akshat wins or not, but she does. Meanwhile, Mangal prays desperately to Maata Rani, breaks the window bars, and finally escapes through the window.
