Kapil informs Pratima that he has invited Akshat and Ishana for dinner, revealing that Ishana accepted. Pratima is taken aback. Kapil excitedly shares his plans—converting the guest room into a kids’ room and designing a walk-in wardrobe for Ishana—asking for Pratima’s opinion.
Pratima questions why he didn’t consult her first. Kapil admits he feels guilty for slapping Adit in front of them and wants to make amends by befriending Ishana. Just then, Adit enters, hands Kapil a file, and leaves silently.
Pratima warns Kapil that no matter how much he does for Adit’s children, he can never replace their father. Meanwhile, Adit confronts Ishana about her unexpected presence. She brushes it off with a sarcastic remark.

Ishana plays the recording, tearfully pleading, “We can’t live without you!” Mangal reassures Akshat and sends him away before confronting Ishana.
Ishana, feigning distress, insists Kapil never intended to keep them together. Mangal, heartbroken, hugs her and promises, “No one will separate us.” As Mangal leaves, Ishana dances in triumph. Adit arrives, and she hugs him, gloating, “Today, Kapil will learn his lesson!”
Kapil, unaware, discusses room designs with an interior designer when Mangal storms in. She plays the recording, demanding, “How could you plan to take me away from my children?” Kapil insists she’s misunderstanding—the clip was taken out of context. But Mangal refuses to listen. “If you can’t accept my kids, you don’t deserve me,” she declares, calling off the wedding.
Later, Mangal checks on Ishana, who pretends to sleep. Mangal brings her food, gently coaxing her to eat. Ishana “apologizes” for revealing the truth, and Mangal reassures her, “I will never leave you.” As Mangal plans Ishana’s birthday celebration, Ishana hugs her, smirking inwardly—her scheme had succeeded.
