Adit stares at himself in the mirror, haunted by Sharma’s words. Feeling suffocated, he tries to open the windows but fails. Sowmya returns from shopping, excitedly showing Adit a dress for his promotion party. However, Adit throws the shirt away, accusing her of making a fool of him. Shocked, Sowmya questions his attitude, only for Kusum and Mangal to intervene, asking her not to add to Adit’s pain. When Sowmya demands an explanation, Adit reveals that he quit his job. Disappointed, she criticizes him for leaving just because he didn’t get a promotion. Mangal defends Adit, but he reacts sarcastically.
Later, while Adit is resting, Akshat asks to play a video game in his room. Mangal subtly signals Akshat to cheer Adit up, and the two bond over the game, achieving the highest score together. Meanwhile, the police arrive at Adit’s house regarding an accident. They inform him that the driver’s brakes were working fine before stopping at Adit’s house but failed afterward. The inspector asks if Adit has enemies, and Mangal surprisingly mentions Sowmya’s name.
Elsewhere, Sanjana urges Gayatri to reveal the truth about Karthik’s condition to Lakshmi, but Gayatri refuses, fearing that forcing Karthik to remember could worsen his condition. Instead, she secretly spikes Lakshmi’s juice with a sleeping pill. Later, as Lakshmi passes by Karthik’s room, she notices he is cold and gently covers him with a blanket. In his sleep, Karthik instinctively holds her hand, and she unknowingly dozes off beside him.
Gayatri and Sanjana discover Lakshmi in Karthik’s room and quickly move her away. Sanjana reminds Gayatri that she had given Lakshmi a sleeping pill, but Gayatri assumes it took effect late. Meanwhile, Umesh begs Gayatri to tell Lakshmi the truth, but she insists on handling the situation her way Karthik wakes up, frustrated that Jia isn’t answering his calls or messages. In an attempt to distract himself, he goes to retrieve his guitar from his room—only to be stunned to find Lakshmi sleeping there.
