Kapil furiously smashes objects in his room, consumed by rage. Pratima intervenes, blaming Monisha for reigniting his uncontrollable anger. Kapil reveals that Monisha has joined Pehla Swad as the Sales Head, clenching a glass so tightly it shatters in his hand. Pratima scolds him for self-harm, but Kapil insists, “I need to confess the truth to Mangal. She might be angry, but she’ll understand. Yet, you’re stopping me!” Pratima warns him, “Last time, proving your innocence was hard. This time, even Mangal may not believe you—it’s too risky.” Kapil argues that delaying the truth will only make things worse.
Meanwhile, Akshat teases Ishana about her rakhi-making skills, threatening to withhold her gift if it’s not perfect. Mangal steps in, playfully asking Ishana to make her a rakhi too. When Kapil arrives home, Mangal warmly greets him, but Akshat and Ishana’s playful bickering distracts her. Seizing the moment, Monisha—determined to grab Kapil’s attention—deliberately burns herself with boiling water and screams.
Kapil, lost in thoughts about how Mangal will react to his confession, hears Monisha’s cries. Smirking, she thinks, “Kapil will come running—he still cares for me.” Adit, witnessing Kapil rushing toward Monisha, decides it’s time to expose them.
However, Mangal reaches Monisha first, concerned about her injury. Monisha feigns innocence, and Mangal remarks, “Good thing Kapil heard you and sent me.” Adit watches closely as Mangal tends to Monisha’s burn, advising ice for relief.
Later, Mangal questions Kapil about what he wanted to discuss. He hesitates, saying, “We’ll talk later,” and walks away. Excited about Lakshmi’s visit, Mangal prepares her favorite dishes, earning Kusum’s praise. When she notices Monisha lingering, she asks if she needs anything. Monisha claims she was just getting water, but Kusum insists, “She needs to leave!” Mangal agrees, telling Adit that since Monisha is employed now, she should move out. Adit, however, schemes to keep her around long enough to reveal the truth—until Sowmya’s repeated calls distract him.
Mangal questions if Sowmya knows Monisha is staying with them. Adit lies, “She knows,” and avoids the call. Kusum remains adamant—Monisha must go.
Monisha, overhearing, pretends to comply, requesting one final day to celebrate Rakhi with the family. Mangal agrees, unaware of Adit’s plan to expose her and Kapil within that time.
As Mangal prepares gifts, Akshat and Ishana’s antics continue. The arrival of a surprise package—filled with Mangal’s favorite things—delights her, and she realizes Lakshmi sent it. When Lakshmi finally arrives, Mangal embraces her joyfully, momentarily free from the brewing storm around her.
Precap: Noticing Lakshmi’s growing curiosity about babies, Mangal playfully asks if she’s expecting. With a smile, Lakshmi reveals that she and Karthik are indeed planning to start a family. Overjoyed by the news, Mangal embraces her sister-in-law, sharing in her happiness.
