Adit gently tells the boy to thank the lady who helped him, and the boy nods in agreement. Nearby, one person informs another that Kapil didn’t attend the event, and his representative will be judging instead. Adit overhears the conversation. Shortly after, Sowmya calls Adit to ask what happened. He relays what he just heard, and Sowmya reacts harshly, blaming his bad luck. She vents that the whole trip was a waste of time and money with nothing to show for it. Adit, confused and frustrated, asks what he can do and why she’s shouting—especially since she’s unwell. Sowmya responds that she’s sick and just feels bad for him, then abruptly ends the call, saying she’ll talk to him later.
Meanwhile, the manager hands Mangal a list of participants who brought business ideas. Mangal, overwhelmed by the length of the list, wonders how she can possibly choose and decides to call Kapil. She steps aside and tells him she’s not confident in making such a big decision, especially when so many have traveled from across India to be there. Kapil reassures her, insisting she’s capable and should believe in herself. He explains how to evaluate the ideas, and Mangal agrees to handle things until he arrives. Still, she urges him to come soon. Kapil, however, lies and says he’s stuck at the hospital, thinking this challenge will help her gain confidence.
Just then, Pratima walks in and asks Kapil who made him smile during the call. He replies that it was Mangal. Pratima, quietly amused, begins planning to play matchmaker between the two. Back at the venue, Adit confronts Kapil’s manager, angry that Kapil didn’t show up, and storms out. Mangal returns to her stall and hears from the manager about a participant who created a scene over Kapil’s absence. She calmly tells him to let it go. At that moment, both Mangal and Adit spot a young boy in danger and rush to help—without noticing each other. Mangal manages to reunite the boy with his mother.
Later, Mangal tries calling the landline to hear Kusum’s voice, but the number is out of service. She tries calling Ishana next, but a stranger answers, saying it’s not Ishana’s number. A sense of unease creeps over Mangal. Worried, she decides to travel to Delhi to check on her children and Kusum. She plans to talk to Kapil about it that same day.
At the investor event, Mangal submits her shortlist. Kapil praises her work, saying she did an excellent job. Mangal reminds him of his earlier promise. When Kapil asks which promise, she says he had agreed she could stay in Jaipur for six months. Now that time is up, she wants to return to Delhi. Surprised, Kapil questions why she’s suddenly so eager to leave and why she seems restless. He gently asks if there’s something she’s hiding and urges her to tell him the truth. Mangal stands still, tense and silent.
