Kapil attempts to speak with Mangal, but Sowmya forces him to leave, vowing not to spare him and warning Kusum about Mangal’s true nature. Later, Kapil meets Mangal and apologizes for increasing her troubles. Mangal reveals her despair that Adit’s condition hasn’t improved despite therapy, leaving her fearful for the upcoming court hearing. Kapil pessimistically believes that even if Adit recovers, he won’t tell the truth.
Mangal prays for Adit’s recovery and Kapil’s innocence, finding some comfort when Akshat assures her he knows her intentions were pure. At the hospital, she pleads with the unconscious Adit to wake up and prove Kapil innocent.
In court, Sowmya gives damaging testimony, accusing Kapil of having a vendetta against Adit and fraudulently obtaining bail with Mangal’s help. When Mangal is called to the stand, she presents evidence that Sowmya sent the bribe, but the defense lawyer dismisses it as forged. He then traps Mangal by getting her to admit Kapil once slapped Adit, using this to paint Kapil as violent and even referencing an old FIR. Sowmya adds to the accusations, claiming Kapil and his fiancée (Mangal) are responsible for reducing Adit to a child-like state.
The judge recesses for lunch, and outside, a furious Mangal blames Pratima for the disastrous situation, citing the unethical use of Kusum’s signature on the bail papers. Kapil tells Pratima she has sealed his fate.
Just as the judge is about to deliver the verdict, Kusum arrives with a recovered Adit, halting the proceedings and giving Mangal a moment of relief. The judge then turns to Adit to ask the crucial question: whether Kapil was responsible for his fall.
