Kapil decides to play Mangal’s voice message but realizes his phone is off. He puts it on charge and steps away. Meanwhile, Mangal checks the account records and feels something is amiss. She looks for her phone but can’t find it, waiting for Kapil so she can discuss the accounts with him.
Pratima spots Kapil’s phone charging, turns it on, and while cleaning it, accidentally plays Mangal’s voice message. In the message, Mangal confesses she’s only agreeing to the marriage under pressure from her mother, who threatened to withhold her operation. Just then, Kapil walks in and sees Pratima with his phone.
Elsewhere, Ishana reaches the office, eager to see if her plan has worked. She imagines Kapil confronting Mangal, accusing her of betrayal and breaking off the engagement. Pleased
At the office, an employee recognizes Ishana and allows her inside. She’s stunned to see Kapil talking cheerfully with Mangal. Confused, Ishana tries to leave before being noticed but collides with a rack. As files fall, the rack nearly crushes her, but Kapil saves her. He asks if she’s okay, and Ishana recalls the time he slapped Adit.
Mangal arrives and questions Ishana’s presence. Ishana lies, still unsure whether Kapil heard the message. It is then revealed that Pratima had deleted the voice message. Doubting Mangal’s intentions, Pratima tries calling her, but with no response, assumes she’s being ignored and rushes to the office.
Later, Kapil helps Ishana with a document and offers her tea. When Mangal’s phone rings, she gets up suddenly, hits her head, and Kapil rushes to help her. She stops him and congratulates him on the engagement. Kapil thanks her and apologizes for the previous day. Before she leaves, he invites her and Akshat to dinner to get to know them better, wanting to ensure Mangal’s happiness. Ishana realizes Kapil still hasn’t heard the message and agrees to come.
Pratima reaches the office upset and confronts Mangal about not answering calls. Mangal says she forgot her phone at home and asks why Pratima looks anxious. Pratima, confused, realizes Mangal couldn’t have sent the message if she didn’t have her phone. She suspects someone else is trying to sabotage the marriage and vows to uncover the truth.
As Mangal’s phone rings again, a nervous Ishana quickly grabs it from Kapil’s desk and tells him she and Akshat will attend the dinner. On her way out, she bumps into Pratima and drops the phone. Pratima sees it in Ishana’s hand and realizes she’s the one behind the plot.
Later, Ishana meets Mangal, pretending to have softened toward Kapil. She claims he apologized and they might adjust to him, earning a relieved hug from Mangal. But as she walks away, her smile fades—her true intention remains: she will never let this marriage happen.
