Mangal sternly warns Neel to stay out of Ishana and Akshat’s room. She tells him firmly that if he wants to continue living in the house, he must learn to behave properly; otherwise, he can leave. Neel argues, asking irritably where he should sleep if they remain in that room. Later that night, he lies awake in the hall, fuming. Feeling humiliated and angry, he mutters to himself that everyone is sleeping comfortably in their rooms while he’s been left out. He vows to teach them a lesson.
Around midnight, Sowmya wakes up and notices that Neel is missing from the sofa. She looks around, puzzled, wondering where he could have gone.
The next morning, Mangal is startled to find the house flooded with water. She traces the source to Ishana’s room and rushes there, waking her in alarm.
Mangal enters the washroom and turns off the tap. At the same time, Sowmya, finding there’s no water in her own bathroom, decides to use the kids’ washroom instead. As she steps inside, she slips on the wet floor, but Adit arrives just in time and catches her. Angry and frightened, Adit yells at Ishana for her carelessness, asking what would have happened if something had happened to his unborn child. Ishana tries to defend herself, saying she didn’t open the tap and doesn’t know how it happened, but Adit refuses to believe her.
Mangal intervenes and tells Adit that Ishana wouldn’t lie and nothing serious has happened. Ishana, hurt and tearful, says, “Dad won’t believe me because I’m not his real daughter.” Adit feels guilty and tells her not to say that. While calming the situation, Mangal notices Neel’s wristband lying on the floor and immediately realizes the truth.
She confronts Neel, demanding to know why he opened the tap and why he’s trying to trouble Ishana. Neel pretends innocence, but Mangal accuses him directly, reminding him of his past behavior in Mussoorie. She warns him to stop creating problems. Neel mocks her coldly, saying, “Your lectures are boring. Now I understand why my father married again.” Enraged, Mangal orders him to apologize to Ishana, but he refuses. Kusum steps in, taking Neel’s side and telling Mangal to stop blaming him without proof. Mangal insists that Kusum doesn’t truly know Neel’s nature. However, Kusum dismisses her concerns, comforts Neel, and tells him to freshen up while she prepares breakfast. Ishana leaves the room in tears.
After everyone leaves, Mangal tells Kusum that Neel’s behavior is unacceptable. Kusum replies that if Mangal truly sees herself as his mother, she should guide him with patience, not authority. Mangal pleads with Kusum to understand Ishana’s pain, but Kusum says firmly, “By God’s grace, we got Neel back. I can’t risk losing him again.” Mangal stands speechless, hurt by her words.
Later, while cleaning the house, Mangal talks to Shanti about the baby swap that happened sixteen years ago. Shanti blames Adit’s decision to have the delivery in Mussoorie and worries about Ishana, calling Neel a spoiled child.
Meanwhile, Sowmya happily tells Kusum that she has made breakfast for Neel. Pleased, Kusum praises her and asks her to take care of herself. Sowmya then suggests celebrating Neel’s birthday, and Kusum eagerly agrees, saying she’ll speak to Adit about it.
Shanti advises Mangal not to let Ishana feel neglected now that Neel is back in their lives. Later, Kusum tells Adit that Neel’s birthday is the next day and insists on organizing a celebration. Mangal joins the conversation and reminds them that it’s also Ishana’s birthday. She suggests celebrating both together, and Adit supports her idea.
