Kusum informs Mangal that their food has been ruined by water, leaving Mangal in tears as she wonders what to do. Kusum tells her there’s no solution and advises her to change clothes. Meanwhile, Adit removes his shirt and ties it to the pump in an attempt to stop the water flow. Kusum approaches Adit, lamenting their wasted efforts, while Adit blames himself and vows to fix the situation.
Elsewhere, Sowmya is on a call, urging someone to expedite Adit and Mangal’s divorce, even offering extra payment. She abruptly hangs up when she sees Adit enter and accidentally drops her phone. Adit asks Sowmya for a loan of 30,000, promising to repay it once he finds a job. Sowmya transfers the money to him.
Later, Mangal calls the assistant director, who informs her that the cooking competition will have a dual round—half the food must be prepared at home, while the rest must be cooked in front of the judges. Mangal worries they won’t be able to dry the food in time for the shoot. To her surprise, Adit gifts her a dehydrator, earning her gratitude. When Sowmya sees this, she grows furious, assuming Adit used her money on Mangal, but she gets interrupted by a phone call before confronting him.
The next day, Mangal successfully dries the food, and they head to the competition. At the venue, Niketan’s mother mocks Mangal and Kusum, but Kusum confidently shuts her down. Sanjana announces the arrival of a special judge—Sowmya Tandon. Sowmya internally notes that she is attending in place of their head judge, Sneha, who is unwell. When Niketan tries to shake her hand, Sowmya refuses, calling him a betrayer. However, when she extends her hand to greet Mangal, Mangal instead greets her with folded hands.
Adit is surprised that Sowmya never mentioned attending the event. Shanti suspects Sowmya is there to eliminate Mangal. Sowmya then announces that only one person per team will cook in the round, and two contestants will be eliminated, leaving five to move forward. Mangal tells Kusum that she will cook and asks Kusum to leave. Though worried, Kusum trusts Mangal’s abilities with the dehydrator and departs.
Meanwhile, in another storyline, Jia tells Karthik she is ready to marry him. However, Karthik delays the wedding, saying he needs six months to regain his memory. Shocked but supportive, Jia agrees, comparing her patience to Parvati waiting for Shiv. While outwardly accepting, she secretly vows to make Lakshmi suffer.
Later, Jia shows Karthik a newspaper article accusing Raghuveer of being responsible for his wife’s death, questioning why Lakshmi hid the truth. When Karthik and Gayatri confront Lakshmi, Karthik demands to know if she is Raghuveer’s second wife. Before she can respond, a drunken Raghuveer, unknowingly drugged by Jia, enters the scene. Karthik shows him the article and accuses him of murder.
Raghuveer snaps, declaring that Lakshmi is not his wife and that they were never married. Turning to Gayatri, he says he can no longer maintain the deception. A stunned Karthik demands to know who Lakshmi’s real husband is, but Lakshmi remains silent and walks away in tears. Karthik then turns to Gayatri for answers, but no one speaks. Determined to uncover the truth, Karthik vows to take matters into his own hands and storms out. Watching the chaos unfold, Jia smirks, convinced that Lakshmi has no chance of defeating her.
