Neel furiously throws Ishana out of the house as Mangal and Adit rush to her side in shock. He coldly declares that Ishana must leave because he is the true heir of the family and this house belongs to him. Mangal, enraged, demands that he stop, but Neel refuses to listen. A stunned Ishana turns to Mangal and asks why Neel is saying such things and who he is to throw her out of her own home.
Neel then reveals a devastating truth — he claims to be the biological son of Adit and Mangal, while Ishana is not their real daughter. He explains that the two were swapped at birth in the hospital sixteen years ago and that Ishana actually belongs to a woman from the basti. Neel cruelly adds that Ishana has been living a life of luxury that was never meant for her and tells her to return to where
Akshat steps in, warning Neel to stop hurting his sister. Mangal, holding back tears, tells Ishana not to cry, assuring her that she is her daughter no matter what anyone says. Ishana, trembling, asks Adit and Mangal to confirm that she is truly their child. Neel demands that they tell her the truth. Mangal emotionally replies that no matter what the reality is, Ishana will always be their daughter, and nothing can ever change that bond.
Heartbroken, Ishana says they are lying to comfort her and that the truth is clear — she doesn’t belong to them. She cries that now that their real son has returned, she no longer has a place in their hearts or their home. She weeps, saying Neel is right. Adit gently tells her that she will always remain their daughter. Ishana asks in despair if she is not their biological child. Mangal replies that whatever destiny says, Ishana will always be her and Adit’s daughter. Mangal then firmly turns to Neel and warns him that Ishana is the daughter of this house, and no one — not even him — can throw her out. She asks Ishana to go to her room, and Adit and Mangal take her inside to calm her down.
Akshat comforts Ishana, telling her she will always be his sister. Mangal gives her water and tries to soothe her tears. Ishana, still crying, asks why Mangal revealed the truth to Neel but kept it from her, allowing him to humiliate her. Meanwhile, Adit warns Neel never to misbehave with Ishana again and demands to know who told him about the truth and gave him their address. Sowmya looks worried, silently thinking about confessing. Mangal explains that neither she nor Adit ever told Neel anything and that they don’t know how he learned the truth. She says she had tried many times to tell Ishana herself but could never find the right moment. Neel arrogantly says it doesn’t matter who told him because no one can deny what’s real. Adit scolds Neel, warning him to learn to respect his elders if he wishes to live under their roof.
Later, Mangal hears Ishana shouting her name and rushes to the children’s room. She finds Neel throwing things around and shouting at Akshat and Ishana. Ishana complains that Neel barged into their room and refuses to leave. Neel angrily declares that the room belongs to him now and orders them to get out. Mangal sternly commands him to stop misbehaving and apologize to Ishana. Neel mocks her instead, smashes Ishana’s photo frame, and threatens that if Ishana and Akshat don’t leave soon, they will regret it. Adit and the others arrive, demanding to know what’s happening, but Neel once again insists Ishana must go. Furious, Mangal raises her voice and orders Neel to get out of the room immediately.
