Ishana reveals to Kusum that Kapil publicly slapped Adit at the engagement, leaving Sowmya shocked. When asked if Adit attended the event, Ishana condemns Kapil as “evil,” while Sowmya twists the narrative, claiming Mangal orchestrated Adit’s humiliation.
Meanwhile, Mangal confronts Kapil, acknowledging Adit’s misconduct but criticizing Kapil for losing his temper in front of Ishana. Kapil apologizes, explaining he couldn’t tolerate Adit insulting Mangal and his mother. Mangal admits she only agreed to the marriage for her mother’s sake, but Shanti prevented her from revealing the truth.
Sowmya, seething with resentment, manipulates Kusum by handing her a knife and urging her to “free” Adit from his suffering—a twisted ploy to turn Kusum against Mangal. Horrified, Kusum drops the knife, but Sowmya’s poisonous words linger.

A hungover Adit faces Kusum’s wrath as she forces him to confess. Furious, she scolds him, declaring Kapil’s single slap was merciful compared to what she would have done. She demands an apology, but Adit and Sowmya stubbornly refuse.
Tensions peak when Mangal and Kapil arrive. Adit, freshly dressed for work, locks eyes with them—haunted by Kusum’s words. The air thickens with unspoken regrets and unresolved fury as past actions collide with harsh reality.
