While Kapil suggests a temple visit for peace before his hearing, Sowmya overhears and plots to ensure Adit doesn’t recover and that Kapil goes to jail.
Mangal busily prepares for a Ganpati celebration at home, helping Adit choose clothes—a moment he surprisingly praises, unlike in the past. However, the event turns chaotic when Adit, in a childlike manner, plays the dhol and forces a reluctant Mangal to dance, just as Kapil arrives. Witnessing this, Kapil grows suspicious that Adit has recovered and that Mangal is hiding it, a fear Sowmya eagerly fuels. Hurt and angry, Kapil begins ignoring Mangal’s calls, even lying about leaving town.
The situation escalates when Akshat’s friends visit; they mock Adit’s behavior, calling him “mad,” which triggers him to break a vase in frustration. As Mangal consoles him, she desperately tries to reach Kapil, who continues to shut her out. The next day, she confronts him at the office, demanding to know why he lied and refused to speak to her, her loyalty and motives now under a cloud of suspicion.
