At home, Kusum supports Mangal’s decision to leave the show but worries about household expenses. Soumya mocks Mangal upon her return, while Adit apologizes for his past mistakes, admitting the show exploited their conflict for TRPs. Mangal, feeling disheartened, locks herself in her room, where Kusum consoles her. Regaining her composure, Mangal heads to the kitchen, only to be interrupted by a knock at the door. The judge and organizer arrive, pleading for her return, but Mangal refuses, stating that their apology cannot repair the damage done to her family’s reputation.
Sanjana attempts to bribe Mangal with a hefty sum, arguing that financial security for future generations is more valuable than pride. Soumya assumes Mangal will accept out of greed, but Mangal shuts the suitcase, declaring, “My self-respect is not for sale.” Even after learning that Jigar has been removed, Mangal remains firm, leaving Sanjana shocked. Adit admires Mangal’s growth, while Soumya believes she made a mistake by rejecting the offer.
Meanwhile, Jia schemes to keep Karthik from reading a crucial newspaper article, faking distress to manipulate him. Karthik, worried, cancels his recording, but Lakshmi convinces him to go, promising to care for Jia. Once alone, Lakshmi confronts Jia, warning that she will be out of the house once Karthik regains his memory. Jia, realizing her plan is at risk, calls her mother for help.
Prema meets Karthik and pressures him to prove his care for Jia by marrying her. Jia, believing her plan is succeeding, tries to apply Lakshmi’s sindoor to her forehead, leading to a heated confrontation where Lakshmi slaps her. Gayatri arrives just as Lakshmi exposes Jia’s manipulative tactics. Jia denies everything and threatens to leave the house. Despite Karthik’s pleas, she storms out.
Haunted by Prema’s words, Karthik gathers the family and shocks them by announcing his decision to marry Jia. Gayatri and Sudesh question his sudden change of heart, but Karthik insists it’s time to make their relationship official. Lakshmi is devastated, growing weak from the revelation. The family opposes the marriage, but Karthik remains adamant, asking Lakshmi to support his choice. Her silence convinces him that she won’t go against his parents, and he urges them to accept his decision before leaving. Lakshmi collapses in tears.
