Adit insults Pratima, calling her a scheming woman. In a fit of anger, Kapil slaps Adit, shocking everyone. Mangal questions Kapil’s reaction, and he defends himself, saying he couldn’t tolerate anyone disrespecting his mother. Pratima supports Kapil and declares she would’ve slapped Adit herself if he hadn’t. She orders the security to throw Adit out, but Mangal intervenes, requesting Adit to leave calmly.
As Adit turns to go, he slips and injures himself. Ishana and Mangal rush to his aid. Mangal tends to his wound, and Lakshmi consoles Ishana, assuring her Adit will be fine. Ishana and Lakshmi help Adit leave, and he keeps glancing back at Mangal. Guests begin gossiping about Mangal’s feelings for Adit and question her marriage to Kapil, calling him her “husband number two.” Shanti remarks that Adit came only to stir drama. Just then, Akshat arrives, asks about the disruption, and Mangal explains Adit felt unwell and left.
Pratima urges Kapil to proceed with the engagement before the auspicious time ends. Mangal hesitates, but with support from Lakshmi and Shanti, she and Kapil exchange rings. Guests shower them with petals, and Pratima blesses them and invites everyone to eat.
Later, Mangal breaks down in her room, recalling Adit’s words. Lakshmi finds her crying and asks why she’s upset on the day of her new beginning. Mangal admits she always saw Kapil as a friend and feels pressured into the marriage. She confesses she only wanted to live with her children and doesn’t know how to move forward. Lakshmi comforts her, reminding her that Kapil is a kind man and that maybe this marriage is destined to bring her peace. She encourages Mangal to trust Maata Rani. They share a heartfelt hug before Lakshmi leaves.
Meanwhile, Sowmya becomes suspicious about how Ishana ended up with Adit during the engagement. Kusum treats Adit’s injuries and questions Ishana, who reveals Kapil was responsible.
Later, Kapil notices Mangal lost in thought and gently stops her. He offers to accompany her to Adit’s house, saying they’re engaged now and he has the right to help her. He acknowledges her silence and says it’s because she’s upset about the slap. Mangal says nothing, deep in conflict.
