After securing Kapil’s bail, Mangal is thanked by him. Their conversation is cut short by the arrival of Pratima, who makes a snide comment about Mangal’s busyness.
The scene erupts as Adit, seeking revenge for his friend Mangal, attaches firecrackers to Sowmya’s dress and lights them. In the ensuing panic, Mangal bravely puts out the flames and stops Sowmya from retaliating, defending Adit’s childlike mental state. Sowmya storms off, furious.
Later, Mangal finds the crucial evidence she needs: a document that proves Sowmya forged Kusum’s signature and sent a bribe to the police in Mangal’s name. She confronts Sowmya just as Kusum arrives. Mangal presents her proof and reveals that Adit witnessed Sowmya’s treachery.
Sowmya denies everything, attempting to discredit Adit. Kusum initially sides with Sowmya, telling Mangal not to involve Adit. However, after overhearing a phone call where Sowmya’s true nature is exposed, Kusum returns and slaps her daughter-in-law. She confesses her regret for doubting Mangal and issues a stern warning to Sowmya.
Victorious, Mangal tells a humiliated Sowmya that she was right—the truth always comes out. She vows to remain as a shield to protect the family from Sowmya’s schemes.
Meanwhile, Kapil’s lawyer informs him that without solid evidence, his case is weak. Kapil hopes Mangal can help, a plan that Pratima secretly tries to thwart.
