Hearing a knock at the door, Neel opens it to find a woman he doesn’t recognize. Startled, he asks who she is. The woman replies softly, “I’m your choti mom.” Confused, Neel retorts, “I have only one mother, and she’s in a coma. I don’t understand why Mangal is so affectionate toward me or why you’re calling yourself my choti mom.” The woman then reveals, “I’m your father’s second wife.” Neel, growing irritated, says, “You must have come to the wrong house.” But she insists, “No, I’ve come to the right place — your real parents’ house.”
Annoyed, Neel warns her not to irritate him, saying he’s already struggling to arrange money for his mother’s treatment. The woman calmly says, “Your real parents are Adit and Mangal Saxena. You were swapped at
Meanwhile, on their way to Delhi, Shanti grows anxious about Lipika, but Ishana comforts her, assuring everything will be fine. Adit texts Mangal asking if she has told Ishana the truth. Mangal decides it’s not the right time — Ishana is already tense because of Lipika. She resolves to tell her once they reach Delhi.
At the hospital, Mangal and the children wait anxiously until Lipika regains consciousness. Shanti scolds Lipika for her carelessness, but Mangal intervenes, asking her not to scold her right now. At the same time, Sowmya and Kusum arrive at the same hospital. Kusum asks where Sowmya was the previous day. Sowmya lies that she went to the temple and insists there’s no need for a checkup. Kusum, however, insists, “I want the doctor’s assurance that you and the baby are fine. Let’s get a checkup today.”
While Mangal steps out of Lipika’s room to attend a call from Adit, she narrowly misses seeing Sowmya and Kusum. Adit asks if she has told Ishana the truth; Mangal says no, then asks about Neel. Adit tells her he isn’t in Mussoorie, which alarms Mangal. Just then, a nurse hands her Lipika’s reports but mistakenly gives her Sowmya’s file before quickly realizing the error and switching them back.
As Kusum searches for Sowmya, she spots Mangal from behind — both women coincidentally wearing similar sarees. Mistaking Mangal for Sowmya, Kusum says, “Why are you going that way? Let’s go home.” Mangal, recognizing Kusum’s voice, turns and touches her feet in respect. The nurse congratulates Kusum, saying, “When will you distribute sweets for your second grandson’s arrival?” Mangal freezes in shock, wondering, Did Adit tell her about Neel? Before she can ask, Sowmya appears — visibly pregnant. Mangal is stunned. Sowmya casually greets her, asking when she returned from Mussoorie. Mangal tries to stay composed and instead asks Kusum about her father’s health. Kusum leaves with Sowmya, unaware of the storm brewing behind her.
Moments later, Pushpa calls Mangal, panicked, saying that Neel has gone missing, and even his friends have no idea where he is. Mangal grows restless. Ishana notices her anxiety and asks why she’s so worried about Neel, reminding her that he means nothing to their family. Mangal tries to tell her the truth, but Shanti interrupts, saying Lipika is calling her inside. Mangal sets the matter aside and goes to deliver the reports.
Elsewhere, Sowmya informs Adit that Mangal has arrived in Delhi. Adit grows tense, fearing that Mangal might have discovered her pregnancy. He worries about how their children will react if the truth comes out. Just then, the doorbell rings. Adit opens it and finds Mangal standing at the door. Surprised, Sowmya and Adit invite her in. Mangal explains, “Amma forgot her bag at the hospital, so I came to return it,” and steps inside.
At that very moment, Neel arrives at the Saxena house in a taxi. Inside, Mangal takes Sudesh’s blessings, and he warmly asks how the children are doing. “They’re fine,” she replies. Sowmya adds, “Sudesh and Kusum are always worried about the kids.” Suddenly, Neel enters the house, his shoes covered in mud.
Adit, angered by his audacity, shouts, “Who are you to walk into my house with muddy shoes?” Neel silently removes them and tosses them aside — splattering mud onto Kusum’s saree. Kusum yells, “Who is this ill-mannered boy?”
Neel pulls down his hoodie. Adit and Mangal freeze in shock as they recognize his face — the boy who was lost to them sixteen years ago.
