Scene 1
Adit says I am sorry Mangal. Please forgive me. She’s shocked. She was imagining it. Adit shouts why are you not serving the breakfast? Are you a statue? She says sorry. He says should I eat sorry? Get my coffee. Kusum says Adit don’t ruin your mood. you can talk politely. Ishana says your auto is here. Adit says I can drop you. She says no you will get late. Papa says she likes to go to her sister alone. Mangal gives Adit his coffee.
Kusum comes to Gaitri’s house. The auto driver reads the name, he says it’s Karthik Nigam’s house. He’s so famous. I love his songs. Do you now him? She says he’s my nephew. He says can you get one selfie with him? She says he’s not home at this time. Kusum comes home. Sanjana who is Gaitri’s SIL says oh it’s you. I thought it was the maid. She says only I make decisions for my son. No one else can decide it. Kusum meets her. She asks the maid to bring water. She asks Gaitri not to get angry.
Scene 2
Lakshmi calls Mangal. She says I wrote a poem. Mangal says I will call you when I get home. Lakshmi says but do call. Until I don’t talk to you I feel incomplete. Mangal says what if I never come? Lakshmi says I don’t say that. Mangal says when you get married you will read these poems to your husband. Lakshmi says I will always read them to you. Lakshmi says wat if my in-laws don’t like my poetry? What if my MIL is very bad? Mangal says don’t worry. She will be like your mom and be with you on everything. Lakshmi says I have you, that’s enough.
Kusum gives Gaitri water. She asks her to calm down. She says the servant is new, she didn’t know. Is Karthik home? She says no.

Scene 4
Mangal helps her son complete the homework. Bell rings. It’s Adit with his friends. She welcomes them. Mangal recalls him being mad about not being able to bring his friends over. She says hello. She says come in. Adit says please come. They meet Adit’s son. Mangal goes upstairs as well. Kusum comes home and sees Karthi’s colleagues. Karthik says we came here for a meeting. His colleague says Adit never calls us over. Our office had pest control today so we came here. Kusum says he likes bringing people over. Adit says to Kusum she couldn’t even bring water so far. I’ve ordered snacks, ask her to serve those well. Kusum says wee can cook at home. Kusum says you all work, we will make shahi tukra for you. Adit works with his friends.
Mangal makes tea and halwa. Kusum says make shahi tukra. Why are you making halwa? She says but Akhar spilled some milk. Adit didn’t even tell. Kusum says we should always have arrangements. What will I tell them? We have to serve them shahi tukra because I already told them we will serve it. Arrange milk from anywhere. Kusum serves them water. Kusum says she will disappoint Adit again. Mangal serves the halwa and tea. The colleague says to Kusum you said you will make shahi tukra. I was so excited for it. But this is halwa. They laugh. His friend says but this is too tasty. They all eat it. The rider delivers the snacks. Kusum tells Adit there was soo milk hence. He says can’t see order? She is useless. Mangal comes with Shahi tukra. She serves it too. Mangla used dry milk. Adit’s friends say it was so good. It’s the best. I’ve never tasted anything like this and halwa is so good as well. Adit you’re so lucky to have a wife like her. She makes restaurant quality food. Mangal says you all can come over whenever you wanna have it. A girl takes Mangal’s recipe. Mangal sees Adit happy and gets happy. Kusum says thi sis our DILs are. Our Mangal is perfect. Adit says yes she’s not like today’s girls.
