Adit spots Neel and wonders why he is there, calling him badtameez. Soon after, he shows Mangal an old hospital record from the time of her delivery and drops a bombshell — their first child was a boy, meaning Ishana is not their biological daughter. Mangal is stunned, recalling Pushpa’s words that Neel is her real son, and she collapses in shock. Adit urges her to accept the truth. Heartbroken, Mangal takes out Neel’s photo, weeping as she hugs Adit. Unbeknownst to them, someone secretly clicks pictures of their emotional moment.
A nurse notices Adit holding a confidential file and confronts him about how he got it. Adit lashes out at the hospital staff for their carelessness. Mangal begs him not to tell anyone about this revelation. Adit laments that her first delivery had happened in that hospital. Mangal explains that her labor pains had started suddenly, forcing them to go there. She insists that Ishana is her daughter in every sense and says she can’t bear to lose her. Adit gently advises her to talk to Ishana before someone else reveals the truth. He then leaves, and Mangal resolves to speak to Ishana the next day.
When Adit reaches home, Sowmya confronts him with a newspaper showing his picture with Mangal. She angrily accuses him of neglecting her and their unborn child. Adit clarifies that he was merely consoling Mangal after discovering that Ishana isn’t their real daughter and that their biological child was actually a boy. Shocked, Sowmya drops a coffee mug. Kusum enters, concerned, and urges Sowmya to stay calm for the baby’s sake. When Kusum asks if Adit said something, Sowmya covers up by blaming her “mood swings,” and Kusum leaves to get juice.
Determined to face the truth, Mangal finally decides to tell Ishana everything. She begins by saying there’s something very important she needs to confess. Mangal then reveals that Ishana isn’t her biological daughter — someone had swapped the babies at birth without her knowledge. Ishana is stunned and refuses to believe it, accusing Mangal of joking. Mangal tearfully insists she’s telling the truth, but Ishana denies it and storms off. Suddenly, a cooker blast interrupts everything. Mangal, lost in thought, imagines Ishana still being there and burns her hand trying to move the hot cooker. Shanti and the children rush in, scolding her for being careless. Ishana takes over the kitchen chores, while Mangal silently vows to reveal the truth to her soon.
Later, Mangal asks Ishana to accompany her to the market. Akshat offers to join, but Mangal tells him to finish his homework first. Mangal prays for courage to tell Ishana the truth, but Ishana overhears her prayer and questions her about it. Before Mangal can respond, they hear Shanti crying — Lipika has met with an accident in Delhi. Distraught, Shanti begs for money and a ticket to reach her. Mangal consoles her, assuring they will all go together. Ishana again asks about the secret, but Mangal postpones the conversation and tells everyone to pack quickly.
Before leaving, Mangal calls Neel, but he doesn’t answer. She sends him a heartfelt message, asking him to take care of his mother and himself, saying she’s going to Delhi and will be back soon. Neel reads the message and feels a strange connection, wondering why Mangal sounded so emotional — almost like a mother speaking to her son. As Mangal and her family head to the airport, Sowmya’s taxi passes by in the opposite direction, neither realizing how fate is silently intertwining their lives once again.
