Soon, Mangal serves her signature suji halwa, a quick vegetarian dish from Pehla Swad. Kusum happily feeds her family and even offers Mangal a piece, making her feel accepted. Akshat, overjoyed, requests a family photo to recreate an old memory—excluding Sowmya. When she protests, Mangal calmly suggests including Sudesh’s photo, leaving Sowmya bitter. She refuses to take the picture, claiming her phone has no storage, and storms off. Kapil steps in to capture the moment.

Later, Sowmya corners Pratima, manipulating her by suggesting that Mangal’s growing closeness to Kapil’s family could ruin Pratima’s plans. She warns that if Pratima exposes her, Mangal might win back Kapil. Just as she pleads for secrecy, Kusum catches her. Sowmya quickly lies, saying she was just directing Pratima to the washroom. After Kusum leaves, Pratima firmly rejects Sowmya’s offer to sabotage Mangal.

Meanwhile, Kusum advises Kapil to marry the girl Pratima has chosen, hoping he’ll move on—unaware that Pratima’s choice is Mangal. Adit, pleased with Mangal for bringing happiness back to Kusum, thanks her.

At home, Kapil confronts Pratima about pressuring Kusum regarding his marriage. Pratima praises Mangal as the perfect match, declaring Adit unworthy of her. Unbeknownst to them, Mangal overhears the conversation, setting the stage for new tensions.
